When location is key... this charming home on Butler Street, nestled in Saugatuck's historic district, offers the best of both convenience and ambiance. Within walking distance to parks, shopping, a range of dining options, and the river, you'll find everything Saugatuck has to offer just a short stroll away. The Chain Ferry and the river are only minutes away, and you're perfectly positioned for day trips to nearby towns like Fennville, Grand Haven, South Haven, Holland, Douglas, and Zeeland. Oval Beach and Lake Michigan’s Douglas Beach are also close by.
Built in 1920 and cherished by the same family for over 60 years, this house was beautifully reimagined by its new owners in 2023. The home offers 3 inviting bedrooms, ideal for a tranquil retreat, and 3.5 bathrooms to ensure everyone’s comfort.
On the main level, you'll find a queen-size bedroom, a full bathroom with heated floors and a shower, a convenient half-bathroom, and an open-concept living area. The fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room create a welcoming space for indoor dining and socializing. The dining table seats six, and the kitchen island accommodates four. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking and crafting cocktails, while the spacious living area and fireplace provide a cozy spot for relaxation on chilly days.
Upstairs, the private master suite boasts a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, and a luxurious primary bath with heated floors, a walk-in shower, and a freestanding tub. Another queen-size bedroom and a full bathroom with heated floors and a shower/tub combination are also on this level. The upper floor also features a laundry room and an office equipped with a desk, monitor, and a twin bed with a trundle for added flexibility.
The covered front porch is ideal for enjoying warm summer evenings, while the fenced-in backyard garden offers a lush retreat with greenery and blooming plants. Outdoor dining on the patio, relaxing on the lawn, or gathering around the gas fire pit under the stars will surely make for memorable experiences.

This house was absolutely perfect! The location could not have been better. The house was spotless and they had a lot of little extra upgrades that I hadn’t seen in other rentals in the past. I would highly highly recommend it and I will definitely be back!

This was probably the best rental/VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Prime location in town but on a quiet street, excellent layout, delightful furnishings and kid friendly on top of everything. My only reservation is leaving such a glowing review means others might stay and we plan to come back every summer. 10/10!

We had an absolutely amazing time with our two kids under 2 and small dog! The house was right downtown and easy to walk to all restaurants and shops. 10 minute drive to the beach. House included beach chairs, but no umbrella, so do bring your own. Our almost 2 year old loved running in the yard. Thanks so much for an incredible getaway! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house! The house has top of the line everything and is spotless. We enjoyed the comfortable porch and fire pit also in the backyard. Very family friendly and comfortable. The heated bathroom floors and bidet were a nice added touch!! Hopefully we will book again next year!

This house is simply wonderful! It is old and charming, with much attention to detail, but it is also fully updated, chic, and super relaxing! From the wine fridge, to the lighting, to the temp controls, everything has been updated to provide maximum comfort. The office was perfect for one of our family who needed to work, and the front porch was a fabulous way to both start and end our days! Communication from the host was excellent on all levels. We plan to return as soon as possible!

Butler Manor is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Saugatuck and surrounding areas. It was exactly as described. Every detail was thought through. The house and yard are beyond charming. It was such a pleasant stay in a very convenient location. You can walk everwhere! We loved our brunch/lunch at Lady Bird. We will definitely be back and hope to stay at Bulter Manor again.

This house is wonderful. It is in a great location, well stocked, clean and charming. We rented it to use as extra space for a family reunion in Holland and our only regret is not being able to spend more time at the house. The front porch is a great place to relax, and the firepit would be fun to gather around with family and friends. We would definitely stay again.

Stay was amazing. Darius and Suresh were great hosts very helpful. The home was beautiful. Had every thing that you could imagine. Great location will definitely come back again.

Beautiful home in lovely setting
LOVED this home! Well kept, so clean, incredibly well stocked and wonderful owners. Perfect location for a walk to town for morning coffee or short drive to oval beach. Would love to come back!

Beautiful home just steps from shops, restaurants, and more!
Our family had a wonderful time at the Butler Manor enjoying the comfort of the home, walks down Butler St to the shops, playground, chain ferry, etc. Hosts were very responsive and the check-in/check-out process was very easy. Hope to return next year!

Perfect
A perfect place for a weekend away in saugatuck! Walking distance from great food and shopping. Our two dogs loved the fenced in backyard.
