You can take a Walk in the Woods, Hike to a Mountain Top or dangle your feet in a Cold Mountain Stream without leaving the property. Just minutes from Whitewater Rafting and Trout Streams. I grew up in South Mississippi and have been visiting the Smoky mountains since I was a boy. Many years ago, my wife and I purchased a rundown cabin nearby and remodeled it into a vacation home. I now reside in it full time. We later bought additional acreage next door and put in roads, water, power as well as two additional cabins, so friends and family could enjoy the mountains as we did. The Cabins at Long Branch are the results. There are now four cabins on a forty-acre tract. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have.

Nantahala has snowy winters, cool summers, beautiful spring flowers and strikingly colorful fall leaves. Plus, there are waterfalls, hiking trails, trout streams, mountain vistas and a lot of fun things to do just minutes away.
Nantahala is not over developed with souvenir stands, tourist stops and traffic signals. It is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Quaint mountain towns, a short drive away, offer food and drink, while a day trip will take you to Ashville, Gatlinburg or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. A visit to these attractions makes coming home to your own mountain cabin all the more wonderful.

The cabins are secluded, yet close to a lot of fun things to see and do. There are only four cabins scattered throughout forty acres, so unlike some developments you do not have noisy neighbors right next door. The cabins are deep in the forest and perched on the side of a ridge, so you experience the true feeling of the mountains.
