We used property for mini family reunion. It was fantastic - kids loved the lake, paddle board, and pontoon boat (additional rental) and lots of lawn space to run around. They also used garage space for games, etc that provided the adults some welcome quiet. Kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed for big family meals. We loved our stay!

Was expecting full air conditioning, but was infact a "mini split". Rooms were a little stuffy at night. House was beautiful, with plenty of room and very comfy. Hosts were very attentive.

We had plenty of room for our family and the home was well supplied.The kitchen is large and great for cooking/serving meals! Great view of the lake! We highly recommend renting the pontoon, as we really enjoyed boat rides around the lake and plenty of room for several people to go fishing together. We enjoyed the dock, beach area, lily pad, and paddle board! The little kids and the big kids enjoyed the game room!We were blessed with great weather all week, so we enjoyed the patio area, as well.Thank you to our hosts for sharing their property for our family to spend some very precious time together!

The house is beautifully appointed. Plenty of towels and blankets. Nice selection of cookware. Beds are comfy. Cove on the water is quiet. We had a wonderful stay.

A very nice place to stay! They even leave snacks out for their guests. The host was very responsive when we had questions and we even left some items behind and they contacted us. The items were too large to ship, but they were kind enough to coordinate a meet up to give our items back.I’d highly recommend staying at their awesome place!

We had an amazing week at this beautiful home!It was comfortable and spacious for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids (3 and 5 years). We very much enjoyed the beach and dock, pontoon rides, bonfires and yard games. Dock fishing for sunfish was fantastic! The kids were never bored between the supplied toys, swing set and trip to nearby Gunn Park.We appreciated the stocked kitchen and grills, ample towels, blankets, and more.The Grand Rapids area is great. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful lake cabin. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the water. The boat was great and easy to use, making it perfect for exploring the lake and enjoying unforgettable sunset cruises. We loved spending time at the beach, relaxing while the kids swam and played on the lily pad. The kayak and paddleboard added even more fun to our days on the water.One of the highlights was taking the family to the gorge, it was such a memorable outing. Evenings were just as special, with cozy fires on the back deck and plenty of games that kept everyone laughing. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay stress-free and relaxing. This was truly the perfect spot for quality family time, and we will absolutely be coming back.

Perfect Lake Getaway

We stayed in the house for a week as two families of 4 with kids ranging from 11-15. The house is a great size and worked well for us! Its a very well built home which meant those of us who are early risers were able to do so without disturbing the ones who slept in! The house is super well equipped and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't available when it came to cooking and more. We also rented the pontoon for the week which I highly recommend. Prarie Lake is a nice sized lake and we enjoyed swimming & rock jumping. If you're looking for a fast paced week with lots to do, Grand Rapids is not the town for you. There are some nice shops & restaurants but not a lot of entertainment. But if you're looking for a week of water, outside space for games, relaxation & quality time we highly recommend staying here!
