Quaint, spacious cottage tucked away on Cherry Hill. The home has been completely renovated summer of 2024. Boasting 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Enjoy a full kitchen that is completely stocked with cookware, utensils, cutlery, and more! Enjoy family meals at the large dining table, or dine outside with views of the valley. Convenient amenities including top load washer and front load dryer. The elongated living room has plenty of seating for the entire family. Off the living room is another deck to extend the entertainment. Rose Cottage is one of two cottages on the property. Rent next door Oak Cottage (studio) to have separate spaces for multifamily vacations! Just across the highway is the paved trail to 4 seasons Boyne Mountain Ski Resort where adventure, and fine dining awaits! Whether you're having summer splash time at the waterpark, walking the sky bridge for fall colors, hitting the slopes in winter, or golfing in season. Relax after fun filled days in our cozy Rose Cottage! Children only for the bunkbed please, no adults! Front part of the house has a slight slope, most guests do not find it bothersome.

This property is conveniently located right across from Boyne Mountain. Although there is a traintrack close to the property, it did not disturb our stay. The home was cozy and clean.

The home was well renovated, quiet, clean and came with a bunch of amenities. Everything you needed was placed right in-front of you. Absolutely amazing and great location as you can see boyne mountain from the kitchen window which is what we came for. Would absolutely book again as me and my family were very pleased with our stay.

Cozy home, perfect stay for ski weekend

This home is nicely furnished and thoughtful touches have been added to make any stay a delight. The kitchen is well stocked with cook ware for at home meals. Beds are comfy and have high quality, soft bedding. Living room is great for the whole family. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this was not the rental experience we were expecting. Upon arrival at the cottage, Amazon boxes were all over the inside of the cottage - on the floor, etc. An open TV was lying down on the kitchen table as if it needed to be installed. It did not appear the home had been tidied up in some time. The listing mentions A/C; however, it is not central air, but window units, of which there are only two, which do not fully cool the home and all of the bedrooms. Upon arrival, windows that were not visible at night, as the blinds were drawn, were open, letting in hot air and, on this night, wildfire smoke, as a hazardous air quality alert was in place in the area. Our family woke up feeling like they were living in a campfire. Only upon investigation did we realize that windows were left open, while the A/C units were also running, as well as a space heater for some reason. Lastly, we paid a pet fee as part of the rental because at the time of booking, our pet was coming on this vacation. However, she ended up not coming. I have emailed the host several times regarding getting a refund for the pet fee and have not seen a response. I am being completely ignored, which is disappointing. It is not right to charge a fee for something that did not happen. We paid over 500 a night to stay here over our three nights, and this property was nowhere close to that value. I would not recommend this location or these hosts.

Boyne Mountain resort is about a mile away, enjoy the view of the lights glowing after dark! We have two homes on this property. This 3 bedroom one bath unit and an adorable studio that sleeps 4! Rent one or both for your group. Coming soon is a common garage/hangout space between the houses. Additionally, we have a pontoon boat for rent in the summer and a MOBILE SAUNA that will accommodate your whole group!

There is a pet fee of $125. We love dogs, but realize that not all of our guests do. We work hard to make sure there is no evidence after each four legged guest so we have the following rules:

1. No dogs on the furniture.
2. You must clean up all waste in the yard. If not, a fee of $50-$100 will be charged.
3. Dogs must not be left alone at the house unless crated.
4. The pet fee you paid covers your dog’s stay. Any additional cleaning required (hair, paw prints, dirt, etc) because of your dog will be subject to an additional cleaning fee. We do have cleaning supplies available at the house, so if there is a need to clean up after your dog, you’ll have the opportunity. Please DO NOT wash/dry comforters. Again, we just ask that pets are not on the beds (or any furniture).
5. 1 dog max. No cats allowed, sorry.
