In Eddyville's serene haven, a captivating three-bedroom retreat offers breathtaking lake vistas and limitless opportunities for exploration. Just a short walk from the serene shores of Lake Barkley and the Cumberland River, you'll find endless opportunities to relax, explore, and create unforgettable memories.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances to whip up delicious meals. Unwind by the cozy fireplace or enjoy a movie night on the smart TV with satellite/cable channels. Refresh in the two bathrooms, complete with towels and take advantage of the in-unit washer and dryer. And Lucky Lake now has Fiber Internet!!!

The drive is steep so no trailers can be taken down it but there is plenty of parking for trailers at the top. You are in a valley and it is private with deer, birds and other wildlife passing through. There is an outdoor shower and a fire pit.

Lucky Lake House is on McNabb Bay which is essentially half way between Prizer Point Marina and Eddy Creek Marina. Mineral Mounds State Park and great golf course is just up the road. If the core of engineers has dropped the water out of the lake Dryden Creek Boat Ramp is less than a mile from Lucky Lake house and very convenient.

Eddyville has Venture River Family Water Park and Cadiz has many antique shops to explore.

This property was clean, lots of cooking utensils, beds were comfortable and made you feel like your home away from home. Gorgeous views of the lake, very relaxing and so peaceful. We caught lots of fish and seen tons of deer. We can’t wait to come back.

This is a very private and serene location with a wonderful amount of wildlife. Although it's surrounded by woods and creepy crawlies outside, we didn't see a single one inside the house. In fact, it is one of the cleanest houses in which we've ever stayed. The owner is wonderful and very responsive. There was an issue with VRBO during book and she went way above and beyond to help us. We enjoyed the view from the deck and going down to the lake. The owner is very accommodating for pets and our dog enjoyed the stay, too. Groceries stores, restaurants, and bait shops are within a 30-minute drive. Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet.

We have booking this place for several years now and is our favorite place to stay. Love the fact that we have a place to park our boat at the covered dock and don't have to take the boat in and out of the water every day. Pet friendly and our dog feels right at home.

It was a great place for the weekend. The only reason not 5 stars is when we booked there was a little row boat that went with the property but on arrival just kayaks. My wife and I were really looking forward to the row boat. Also that driveway is super steep.

I have removed the row boat that was stolen from the listing. I had thought I had did that already and so I am sorry about that. The steep driveway is really not a big deal once you go down it the first time. There are several other places in Kentucky that have them and if you have ever been to the mountains, like Gatlinburg some of those drive ways or 3x worse. I don't want people to be scared of that so that is why I am making this statement. If you've ever been to a mountain home this drive will will not be an issue for you. Yes I hate that about the 4 stars as it reduces my overall rating and in today's competitive market that is important. It is my fault because I should have double checked that I got it off the listing after it was stolen. It is now removed.

The house is wonderful and has everything you need. Sitting on the deck and taking in the tranquil surroundings in the morning and evening was our favorite part. We also enjoyed being able to use the kayaks. If we had to be super picky, it would’ve been nice to have a ladder on the dock so swimming could be possible.

I am glad you stayed with me. I have not thought about a ladder because since I am in an inlet the water is definitely pure lake water. I have swam right outside of dock before and think that is a great idea and will look into adding one for the summer swimming time season.

Great for our neighbor weekend getaway-very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great deck for gathering! Would have loved to get to use the fire pit, but weather didn’t cooperate.

I am glad everything was great for you except the weather. Not sure what could be improved to have been given a 5 star review as I know my Amish cleaning team does her best to keep up with all of the demands of my beautiful lake home down in the valley. Please message me with any suggestions you might have as I want it to be perfect and in today's environment getting as close to that is so important.

Way back when I rented the house a John boat was available for use. It was no longer there. There was a lot of dog hair on the house. Other than that the property was great. Close to the lake, nice dock and cove. It had everything we needed. Saw lots of deer and very few people. So very relaxing.

The place was perfect for our family(2 adults, 3 teens and 2 boxers). We rented a pontoon for a few days and was able to park it at the dock. Kids were able to get some fishing and swimming in too!

Amazing property, amazing host! Our previous booking was cancelled last-minute due to emergency flooding in MO, and in a panic to save our vacation we reached out to multiple properties through the app hoping someone would get back to us in time. Pamela got back to us RIGHT away and was super-responsive and accommodating. We were ready to settle for something less than ideal due to the last-minute booking, but this house was PERFECT! The property is gorgeous & secluded, with lake access. The house was clean & comfortable, with plenty of space for 5 guys (boys trip) even with only 3 bedrooms (it has 4 full beds a pullout sofa), and even had a stocked kitchen w/ clean, updated appliances. We will definitely be back. Thanks Pamela for saving our vacation!!!

Great week at the lake

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Property was perfect for our needs with a covered dock for the boat, room for the dog to run and a nice home with newer appliances and a large grill with places to relax both inside and out.

Relaxing Stay

This is our new favorite place. The house was clean and homey, the grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed the ease of having our boat in the private dock and coming back and forth. We will be back!

Came her with my 72 yo mom, 20yo and 16 yo sons. The real star of this place is the land and lake. It is one of the most peaceful places I have ever been. The house was good too. But the outdoor areas really are the reason to come. We loved it and and would absolutely come here again. The house was perfectly sized for 4 adults, everyone had their own sleeping space. The grill was large and worked well. We spent most of our time out on the deck, on the dock, or in the lake. A few things for others to know just to help prepare:The deck is not closed so bring a long leash for your dog if needed. If they are good off leash then the wooded yard is going to make them insanely happy like it did our pup.There are no wine glasses I mean, we just drank our wine out of coffee mugs but if it's important to you, you should bring your own.We did not see a paddle Jon boat which was fairly disappointing for my 16 year old as this was one of the things we were looking forward to. There were three kayaks and maybe one is being called a Jon boat but that is definitely a stretch. He ended up fishing off the dock and we had brought some inflatable SUPs which we used on the lake.Again, overall, we would absolutely stay here again and really enjoyed the space.

Jessica, I am so glad that you guys stayed with me. That Jon boat was stolen as a neighbor saw some guys come in late one night and take it. It is upsetting and I sure thought I had taken that off the listing so I will get that off now. I am sorry your son was disappointed as there certainly was one there before the thieves felt like they needed it.

I love all water activities and currently spend time in KY, IN, TN or FL. I am always doing something on or near water and the lake is one of my favorite getaway places. No crowds, no traffic, and only the sounds of boats or fish jumping on my hook.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Lucky Lake House was purchased in 2002. The goal was to find a place that was on the lake, had a dock, had privacy and wasn't so large that it would take a day to clean. When we saw the for sale sign at the top of the hill but could not see the house a good feeling came into my heart. The realtor said some where afraid of the steep drive and I thought 'there are tons of steep drives around here' but none that has such a great place at the bottom of the hill.
