This 4 acre vacation rental on lake barkley 2 bedroom with a split bathroom newly renovated with new heat/air unit as well as hot tub and gas firepit located on Moon Bay Dr with a shaded lot is perfect for boaters or just kick back and relax enjoy the country like surroundings, amenities include. gas grill, fire pit with wood provided, 3 covered seating areas, very peaceful secure area , lots of wildlife, deer, turkey, osprey and eagles are all common sites, ample parking for you boaters, close to several boat ramps, one extremely close, others are less than 5 mins away, as well as a full service marinas, such as Hu'be's , Green Turtle Bay and Buzzard Rock. A variety of restaurants such as, Patti's Settlement, Oasis Bar and Grill, The Joint Bbq and authentic Mexican are just a few examples of great food just minutes away. 2 night minimum stay and 3 night minimum stay on holidays. Kayaks (2) available (FREE) first come first serve.

Family Visit

Everything was very nice. The property was secluded and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. There was an overpowering smell of air fresheners though. We unplugged them from the wall and it was much better after a day. There were a lot of trees with nuts falling that I wasn't aware of, and one fell and dented the hood of my truck. Caution to other's staying there. Don't park under the trees in late summer or fall. Property owner was very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Quilting Fun

Paducah is known for quilting and we came down for the quilt show. Hotels were too expensive so we opted for VRBO instead. This house is very nicely decorated. A bathroom with a sink, mirror and toilet and then another bathroom with a sink, mirror and shower which makes it very convenient for multiple people getting ready in the morning at the same time. Very clean and well supplied.

House by the lake

Beautiful place to stay. Clean and newly remodeled and up to date, and awesome decorations that give it the lake house atmosphere. New appliances and awesome relaxing rain shower heads. Seen two deer right outside our window at dusk, it was beautiful! Highly recommended DW

Great place on Kentucky/Barkley Lakes

Visited for a tournament on KY lake. Lots of parking and very isolated/peaceful. The owners are super nice and live on the same shared large property.

Lake weekend!

We had a great time! House was great! Close to the lake and boat dock! Close to amazing food at Pattis 1800 settlement! Peaceful evenings on the porch!! We will definitely have to go back! Added bonus the Shower was Awesome!!

Perfectly Peaceful

This little house was all we needed for my wife and me, and our two ‘furry’ girls, Bella and Lucy. The very large and shaded yard was perfect for them to romp around and tire themselves out. They chased squirrels (but never caught them) and protected us from many ‘phantom’ threats. There aren’t any nearby eats, but drive a few miles and the choices are many. Great hiking, great scenery, just a great getaway for us and the mutts. Hooghly recommended.

Perfect location

Lisa and Glenn are perfect hosts and are very accommodating. Location for our bass tournament was perfect with a ramp for us to use just a minute away. Plenty of parking for two trucks and 20+ ft bass boats. Will definitely stay here for our next trip.

Nice, clean and quant.

We really enjoyed our stay, we saw a ton of deer on the property behind the house, falcons and woodpeckers. I was afraid there wouldn’t be anywhere for me to walk my dogs, but I was wrong, there is a big neighborhood down the street, even a park which was perfect for me and the littles. The house was very nice and organized inside and out. We were very pleased, we would definitely come back…it will be our first place to book when we come back to fish.

Perfect stay!

We normally bring all the stuff we need for food and such due to properties not being the cleanest, but that wasn't needed at this house. The place was very clean and tidy upon arrival. We were expecting a couple bugs since it's wooded around the property, but we honestly didn't even see a single bug in the whole house. The king bed was very comfy and warm during the cold nights. This is a lovely property. You will enjoy your stay here!

Very Nice

The only thing I wish was that there were some instructions on how to lock/unlock the house; how to use the remotes to the lights, ceiling fans, & air conditioners; & what was expected of the guests to do at checkout…i.e, put bedding in washer or leave on bed, where to throw trash, leave it locked or unlocked. But these are little things & the stay was very comfortable & enjoyable. Thank you

Clean and peaceful

This little house is in a peaceful wooded setting a short walk from the lake. We rented it for family on two separate weekends and had a very enjoyable stay both times. We will be back!

Great stay, helpful owners

We had been to the lake a few times, this location was super clean and supplied. Air conditioning was nice and cold -it was in 90s during our stay so this was perfect! Owners were super accommodating and helpful even when a late night message was sent. We would definitely stay again. Our only issue was we arrived at night and GPS sends you to the end of the road instead of the near the beginning where it is and the number was a bit difficult to see.
