Come and relax with breathtaking views of Maquoit Bay! This little cottage is perfect whether your looking for an adults weekend away to unwind or a kid friendly space to escape to. With 2 queen beds and 1 king bed, this lovely property also offers a bunk bed in a common area to sleep little ones. Enjoy the convenience of a washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, Weber gas grill, two indoor working fireplaces and WiFi during your stay. The 2 bathrooms feature a shower and bathtub for your comfort. Open the window and listen to the water at night or drive a short 10 minutes into town to hit the local shops and restaurants. Property has direct access to a small private beach, including two sea kayaks and two adult bikes. If kids are included on this trip, feel free to enjoy the handful of toys including magnatiles and a play kitchen set. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Freeport bay and our house has to offer.

This property was the perfect place for our family's Maine vacation! The view is spectacular. The private beach was so fun to explore and the perfect place to rock/seashell hunt. We stayed mid-October, so we didn't get in the water, but the host has kayaks available right there on the beach. Our host, Paige was very easy to communicate with and answered our questions extremely quickly. The house is super charming and cozy, with an ample amount of space. The house had all the amenities we needed, including a brand new washing machine/dryer with detergent/fabric softener; all necessary toiletries and bedding; and everything we needed in the kitchen. We didn't cook anything, but there seemed to be anything you would need to make meals.The location was perfect. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood, far enough from town to avoid crowds, but not too far that we couldn't pop over quickly to shop or eat out.If we go back to Maine, we will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful location and a comfortable place to stay. Travelling with two couples, each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, with room to spare. You also can’t beat the spectacular views from both the living room and the balcony!

We had a very nice stay at the property. The view is amazing and the house has lots of outside decks to enjoy the views. We enjoyed the new washer and dryer and dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable and linens top quality. If you have smalll children there are lots of toys. The only downside is the bathrooms are in awkward places and you have to walk through a bedroom to get to one of the bedrooms. Minor problem considering the amazing views! Thanks for a great rental

The location and view are lovely! It was so nice to be on the water and our toddler loved going down and splashing around and playing with the rocks. The house is definitely a work in progress and has a few bugs to workout. It’s extremely family friendly and we loved having the toys and bunk bed for our toddler and the fact that the stairs were gated. The kitchen is tiny and very poorly stocked. We struggled to cook even breakfast with what was available to our use. The biggest issue that surprised us was the fact that the two upstairs bedrooms require you to pass through the queen to get to the king. This ended up being a big deal for using the restroom in the night and waking that couple up. Maybe I missed it on the listing, but I feel like that information needs to be pointed out so there are no surprises. We would not have rented the house had we realized it was set up that way. The view and water access does make up for the interior and I’m sure when they’re done renovating it’ll be a very lovely property.

This property was incredible! We loved the gorgeous ocean views and really appreciated all of the amenities for children, especially the bunk beds, books, and play kitchen. The location is great and a short drive to downtown Freeport. Overall a beautiful place to stay and perfect for our whole family.

Great relaxing location and our kids loved it. It was clear they are trying to fix the place up as they go. The wood walkway down to the beach could use some TLC (given barefoot kiddos happen). Definitely worked out well for us and we’re excited that we could spot the house on our boat tour (Seacoast Tours of Freeport).

Lovely home. Gorgeous views of water from living room and large deck. Nice spot for swimming in the ocean with little beach area making entry easy. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Clean. Well appointed kitchen. Convenient to Freeport. Nice country roads for running/walking. We were very happy there.

Cozy Family friendly cottage

When you walk through the door the view is spectacular. The access to the beach/waterfront is easy. The property grows on you as you get accustomed to its quirks, and we definitely would stay there again. It is comfortable for a small family group, and great for kids! Our granddaughter had a ball and loved the place.Any concerns we had (& they were minor) we addressed directly with the owner and I believe that she will make the necessary corrections. We likely will try and rent again in 2026.

My husband and I really loved this place! Though it is a bit quirky in layout, (ie., you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the next), and it is still a “work in progress” in terms of renovations, the water views make up for everything. Magical. Great new outdoor shower! Quick and easy communication with Paige.

Beautiful paradise

We had a very wonderful start into our summer at the house. Very much enjoyed the wonderful view over the ocean and the beach steps down from the house in both low and high tide. Communication with Paige was very responsive and everything was as described. Also lots of great things to explore nearby! We’d love to come back!

Wonderful Views but the main floor layout of bedrooms is not conducive to privacy

Unable to evaluate the main floor layout of bedrooms when we decided to stay. The occupants of the master bedroom at the front of the house can only exit or enter by going through the 1st bedroom off the kitchen. This disturbs the sleep and privacy of that person. The bottom level bedrooms have privacy but can only be accessed by a very steep long set of stairs- dangerous for older occupants to navigate. The access code set up of front door was difficult to use and locked us out on 2 occasions- again for elderly folks.

Great location

We brought our 3 & 5 year olds, they loved the house, it's very kid friendly. Walk down the deck and stairs right to the beach (the deck and stairs are in rough shape though). Secluded beach, close to Wolfs Neck and shopping/restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Great home with amazing views!!

We had a fantastic stay with our family (including our 3yo). The home was exactly as described/photos show, and the view is simply amazing. Everything worked as expected, and the kids toys were an added bonus. Great communication with the host, would happily stay here again!

Picturesque Ocean waterfront views

As you enter the house, you are entering the kitchen and looking at the most wall sized widow framed picturesque ocean waterfront view with islands included. We had two children with us and there was a has sack storage box filled with toys and a midsized toy kitchen that kept the children busy. The accommodations were cozy and homelike . We are already contemplating a warmer season return to enjoy the oceanfront amenities!
