What a beautiful condo. So thankful to have rented your home. The supplies provided was endless. We were able to take the beach equipment out for a day. The stocked supplies took the guess work out of what was needed to cook.Many amenities. Pool,tennis court, BBQs, shuffleboard, etc. Lots of wild chickens to keep you entertained.The hosts were very accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality.Mahalo!

Stay was amazing. Great central location. The place was fully stocked with anything we needed. Loved the jungle vibe in the back, and the chickens. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Great location on ground floor. Hosts gave all necessary information in a timely manner. Loved the extra touches in the condo. Very well equipped with beach equipment. Easy check out. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

We loved staying at Rick & Val's condo at Banyon Harbor. The unit is very clean and equipped with coffee & snacks to welcome you. The beds are very comfortable. This is a ground floor unit so you can walk right off your lanai to see the grounds. The location is ideal for day trips to explore the island. Communicating with our hosts was very easy and timely. Wonderful place to stay!!

Nice clean unit with comfortable beds and beautifully decorated with local art. The hosts make you feel right at home and are very responsive. This place is within walking distance of some shops and restaurants.

Great location! Our host were very communicative. Parking was easy and seven minutes away from the airport. There is a shopping plaza right across the street that made everything easily accessible. I would stay here again.

Great location for our needs. Great for a long term rental. WIFI worked good. I had to work a couple of hours everyday. All in all a great place!

It was a nice property, central to everything on the island, and the hosts were responsive to our needs as soon as any arose. We loved the snacks left for us, and the visiting chickens in the back "yard" ... though who told that rooster to crow at 5 am? Mahalo! Note: It made us rate the pool even though we never saw or used it.

Condo was very clean. The host had many nice complimentary amenities, and the bed was very comfortable which was a plus for me with a bad knee. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Rich and Val were great hosts. There were snacks and water when we arrived. Snorkeling gear, beach towels, everything we needed. Clean and very comfortable! Great location, walking distance to restaurants, beach and shopping.

We had a terrific stay! The condo was nicely equipped. We enjoyed the patio with the "jungle" behind it. They provided coffee, bottled water, some snacks and some oils and spices for cooking.The beds were very comfortable, the islander furniture and paintings very nice.There is a beautiful view from the pool area of the ocean. Just across the street is a great beach and some shopping. Dukes restaurant and Portofino's were great. Lihue is a nice location to get to Costco and Target, close to the airport. In minutes you are at Poipu, golfing at Wailua or swimming at Lydgate beach. We would stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable condo. Main floor with no stairs was very helpful for us being over 75 years old for both of us. Owner and complex were very easy to work with. Nice to have the condo with the air conditioner and ceiling fans on when we arrived.

I can’t say enough good things about this host. A, excellent communication and very accommodating. They make you feel so welcome. The snacks were a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is very clean and nicely furnished. The air conditioning in each room kept the place comfortable and cool. The pool area has a great view. My family enjoyed playing shuffleboard and grilling out there. I would definitely recommend this condo to others.

Welcoming, lovely stay

Our condo was very nice, comfortable, great view of vegetation from the lanai. The walk to the pool was great and the view from the pool was beautiful of the water. We liked watching the cruse ships moving. Short trip to lovely Kalapaki beach, shops and restaurants. The hosts were amazing with the hospitality and special touches to make us comfortable from the time we walked in the door until we left. Would recommend this unit and especially these hosts. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Kauai visit, Nov\Dec 2024

We were pleasantly surprised at our chosen accommodation during this trip. Was slightly stressed that the property was sold after booking but Richard and Valerie could not have been better hosts, accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Responses were prompt and it was a pleasure to meet Rick. Apartment was accessible, clean safe and had everything we needed for our 16 night stay. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. We hope to stay again one day. Central and a good home base top all of Kauai. Thank you Richard and Valerie. Gordon, Rudy, Darla and Evelyn.

Convenient location and good value

The condo was well-furnished and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were very thoughtful and responded quickly to all our questions. They left us a nice assortment of snacks. They also let us have an earlier check in as soon as the condo had been cleaned, since our flight arrived early in the day. The beds were comfortable. It’s on the ground floor, so no hauling luggage upstairs. The lanai opens onto a nice green space in the back. There’s a busy street nearby, but the traffic noise dies down early, so no trouble sleeping. The location was conveniently central for all our Kaua’i sightseeing. All in all we had a lovely time.

To begin, we had a good time at Val and Ricks condo. It was very clean when we arrived. It was well stocked with bottled water, coffee and snacks.They also provided beach equipment which included towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkeling equipment, and sun block. That was a big plus. We used that stuff everyday. It was spacey enough for four of us, though one daughter had to sleep on foldout coach in the living room so being that my wife and I get up early (5-6am), we had to sneak around like a cat burglar so not to wake her and do everything like making coffee, etc. in the dark lol. We probably wouldn't do that again. There was good wifi and cable tv. The outdoor lanais were great to sit and have coffee and enjoy the back area. As advertised, shopping and eateries were within walking distance. Unfortunately Banyan Harbor Resort let us know through Val and Rick (Not their fault) one week before our trip that the pool, which was the only amenity at this place, would be closed do to reconstruction. They (BHR) offered free swimming at the YMCA about a mile away lol. Come on! They should have just refunded us part of our rental fee. Secondly, BHR is not a resort. It's an old condo complex with both vacationers and permanent residents. They should drop resort from their name. It's no more a resort than my house is. We spent most of our time away from the condo while spending time at the real resort down by the beach, though we had to sneak in to the pool and bar! TY V R!

Dukes barefoot bar has a beautiful view, gift stores at Anchor Cove, or If looking to squeeze in some gym time, Kaua’i Athletic Club is 2 min. away.
