Family of four loved our stay here in Packwood. Great house…plenty of room and felt really new. We enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. Communication with Jason was excellent. Location in Packwood for our trips into Mount Rainier National Park was ideal. Highly recommend!

Overall great experience. Second time here and really enjoyed our time. Only comment would be having a way to shock the hot tub which was less clear than we would have liked. We were here with family and friends which was very relaxing.

Well, firstly, I’m glad you had a good stay for the second time at Stone’s Throw! And I appreciate your feedback on the hot tub. We definitely want to keep the water in good shape for our guests and hopefully it did not dampen your trip. (Pun intended) It can get a bit cloudy at times and we’re working on a plan that I believe will allow for guests to address this concern. Close to Mt Rainer and Walking into Town

Great stay! The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a family. Teenagers enjoyed the space and game room. Close to town so you can walk to get coffee in the morning and dinner at night.

Really nice rental.

Best place we've stayed in Packwood to date. Very well thought out and spacious. Well stocked, and really comfortable space. Could easily accommodate two families of four, and our single family of four was able to really relax here.

The host’s home is LOVELY! We all (my husband and I, our daughter and two children ages 5 & 9) had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring the cute town of Packwood and the Mount Rainier NP area. We stayed for 5 days during the first week of August. The four bedrooms gave us plenty of room and all the beds were so comfy, the kitchen was clean and exceptionally stocked and the living room was big and cozy with a gas fireplace. The kids enjoyed all the toys, the activities in the garage and the hot tub was A!! The host was very responsive to our initial inquiries about the property and questions along the way - he is a gem! The location of the property is excellent, short walk to town to get a coffee in the morning at The Mountain Goat Coffee Shop, enjoyed delicious pizza at Cruisers Pizza and picked up a few groceries at Blanton’s Market. We all had a wonderful time in this beautiful and well appointed home. I highly recommend staying here and we hope to return again! Thanks for making our family vacation a very memorable one!

We loved our time in Packwood!

The home is clean, beds were comfortable, and it is convenient to Packwood. My favorite thing was drinking my coffee on the front porch and watching the elk wonder around. Hope to come back one day!

Really excellent house. Very high end construction. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lots of little labels and helpful information. Truly one of the best short term rental properties I have stayed in.

Packwood is great.

The house was clean and comfortable with a bonus of being able to watch an elk herd from the front deck. Within walking distance was restaurants, breweries, and gift shops. We highly recommend this home.

Very nice house, close in to packwood

Very clean, very well stocked, very close to town, very comfortable and spacious. I can't say enough good things about this house. Literally, everything was as good as it can get for a short term rental. The house was super clean and comfortable, and the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had in a rental. Will definitely be staying here again.

2nd weekend in March

The only thing that would have been better would have been a covered hot tub to soak after a long day of skiing. Great House!!

Family Ski Weekend Stay

Our family of five enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is super convenient to restaurants and grocery store and a quick 20 minute drive to White Pass Ski Area. We booked this house because of these conveniences but this place has much more than that. My teens love having their own rooms with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals for a large family. We enjoyed the shuffle board and ping pong table in the garage and the hot tub after a day on the slopes. We'd recommend this property to families and large groups and would definitely stay again. Also, the couches are super comfortable!

Mt Rainier NP Hiking

Stone's Throw is just as advertised! Very clean, organized and inviting with space to spread out and space to gather together. A nice distance from Paradise and Longmire. Jason is a great host who communicated well prior to and during our stay. We highly recommend Stone's Throw when staying in Packwood, WA.
