Swept Away, waterfront, live oak paradise for your family get-away

The house has a panoramic view of the Bogue Sound from almost every space inside and outside of the chalet. You are surrounded by the water and the sky and the sound of the breeze in the massive live oak trees everywhere you go. The house is ideal for families or two couples with families or as a romantic hideaway. The gorgeous floor to ceiling wall of glass in the great room is flanked on both sides with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Patio access is available from the living room, as well as from the master bedrooms on each side. Each wing can be closed off for privacy. The well-equipped kitchen is complimented by an outdoor Green Egg grill and patio dining. The house sleeps 9. There is one king bed in the master, one queen bed in the secondary master, an upper and lower full size bunk bed with a pullout trundle in the third bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the office bedroom. The office has a monitor and a desk for your use. What a great place to have a work-cation! The internet is reliable. This waterfront hideaway is on a double lot studded with live oak trees, an outdoor shower, a boat dock with a lovely sitting area for watching the sunset or watching your family kayak to the little islands just a short paddle away and is boat friendly. There is easy access from the ICW to bring your boat to the dock or you can put in at a nearby public boat ramp. Once you are here you may not want to leave but the location is so close to everything the Crystal Coast has to offer. White, sandy Emerald Isle beaches, restaurants, waterparks and miniature golf adventures are only a 10-15 minute drive away. The aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores and all of the Atlantic Beach amenities are within a half hour drive as is the historic downtown of Beaufort and Morehead City. Please note that the water depth is tidal and is also affected by the direction and strength of the wind so it is hard to predict how much water will be at the dock during low tide. The boat ramp may be used only for kayaks. This is a place that has it all---be prepared to be truly swept away!
