The property and home was gorgeous! It had everything we needed and more. A nice, peaceful place to enjoy our long weekend. Not far from the places we had to go. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back next year!

Our second time here and it was the best! We had two of our daughters come in from out of town to meet here so we could see our other daughter's game at a local college and it was perfect place to stay! It's so beautiful, so roomy, and the big table is the perfect spot to gather around together. Not to mention the comfy couch! Jen is such a perfect host and we love that we found this home away from home. : ) You won't regret staying at this beautiful property!

We loved this property! It was clean and very well decorated. All the soft blankets and cozy coach was a plus. So many extras, including a full stocked coffee bar. Perfect for our visit to Kings Dominion.

Gorgeous Getaway

Came down to Richmond to visit my kids and couldn't have been happier than staying at the Greenwood.

The Greenwood was a very clean, well stocked comfortable space. The host was very responsive and I loved the coffee options that were provided, as lovers of coffee this made our morning. I was impressed that we had dog bowls waiting for our dog when he arrived. Nice touch!

Great place, great stay

The place was absolutely beautiful, the surroundings were serene. The beds were very comfortable. Jen even left us a little treat. I highly recommend staying here

Beautiful property and well furnished with all of the necessities. Great for a family getaway.... close enough to Richmond yet a peaceful respite. Jen was super at communicating and left a sweet treat for us. Highly recommend for your next getaway!

This Barndominium and it's owners are Absolutely Amazing! Everything was Perfect and Jen & Jarret were so accommodating and communicative since from the moment I booked our stay in this property! We have stayed at many VRBO Properties in the past and this one is by far at the top of the list of Bests Ones forever! I would recommend this home to anyone considering it!

Host was most accommodating. Establishment is in a relaxing rural setting... but easy access to the area. Nice, and clean. Very nice kitchen supplies. Beverage counter, and toiletries superior. A winner!

All I can say is Wow! Our jaws dropped. We stayed for my son’s graduation from UR and it was perfect. 25 minutes away and we had peace and quiet from the long days. Everything was easy and perfect. Thank you such a wonderful stay. It really added to an already memorable weekend.

Beautiful property in a peaceful setting

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed all the amenities of The Greenwood with our family. Highly recommend the extra wood set-up for the outdoor wood firepit. We enjoyed sitting outside cooking hot dogs while the kids ran through the fields.

Total 5 star experience

This property was everything it advertised and the host was the best I have ever had the pleasure working with. Property is outstanding, clean, comfy, and ideally situated close to great restaurants and venues but feels completely isolated in the woods. We are trying to find a reason to come back to this part of the country again just to stay again at The GreenWood. Thanks Jen, for a wonderful time.

This place is a true sanctuary. It is spectacular, spectacularly, peaceful, and surrounded by vast acres of land where dogs can roam freely. It’s the kind of environment where you can simply let go of everything weighing heavy on your soul and just breathe The owner. Jen is attentive and very caring.She was incredibly responsive to answer any questions that may have risen about the area or anything else you had a question about. If you need a quiet escape to reset this is exactly the place I would have given it 10 stars if it was available

The barn couldn’t have been more fabulous! We came with our grown sons for a wedding. Perfect for us and our dogs. Plenty of personal touches that made us feel welcome. Great communication with the owners at all times. We loved the large living space and the concrete floors throughout. If we ever need a place when we come to Richmond we will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

The Greenwood is truly a special place. The photos are very accurate but the warm welcome of our host, Jen, made you feel like a member of her family.The barndominium was built with luxury and pampering in mind. Everything was high quality and the primary bed was so comfortable. The location is very private and our dog really loved the freedom of chasing a ball on the big grassy area in front of the Greenwood. If you stay, be sure to inquire about the Sonos speakers and app that will fill the space with wonderful music.The property is located an easy drive from Ashland down mostly flat country roads. We enjoyed visiting Ashland very much. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful property! It is so cozy and well decorated and everything you could possibly need is there. We were in town for my daughter’s college games over the weekend and it was so nice to come back to this location and relax and regroup. Jen’s communication was so great and all of her personal touches were so sweet and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!
