Welcome to our fully redecorated Two-Bedroom Deluxe condo at Windy Oaks Apartments, a spacious and romantic mountain retreat perfect for couples, families, or a getaway with friends.

This 1,025 sq ft condo comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and offers stunning views of Gatlinburg SkyBridge and the Space Needle, with front-row seats to 4th of July and New Year’s fireworks right from your private balcony 🎆

The easiest way to access the room is from the right side of the building. There are three short flights of stairs: two with 4 steps each and one with 10 steps.

We enjoyed our stay. Wish there would have been an elevator to have used. I made it though. Pool was great. Parking was great. Would stay here again. Owners were helpful with other questions had. Everything thing went smoothly. Thank u!! McDonald

Place was clean. Easy to checkin. Host was very quick in responding. Location was very quiet. Easy to catch the trolley down the hill to shop and eat.

The location was great as well as the balcony view The only down fall was we are in our 60’s with bad legs and backs… way to many steps to carry luggage up and down!!

Great location. The view is beautiful! Suggest using the free Gatlinburg trolley for those that aren't up for the steep walk. The only complaint I have is that the smell of cigarette smoke (old/new) hit us in the face when we opened the door and was very overwhelming for the whole stay. We are not smokers though so we may be more sensitive to it. They certainly tried their best to cover it with wall air fresheners, but I think it is just inbedded into the carpet. This could definitely be something I may have overlooked when reading about the property. I am not really sure. Overall though, everything was clean, tidy and comfortable.

We do want to address your concern regarding the cigarette smell. Our unit is strictly a non-smoking property, and smoking is only permitted on the balcony. We have not had any reports or evidence of guests smoking inside the unit. However, in a condo setting, if the balcony door is left open, it is possible for smoke from neighboring units or nearby balconies to drift in, which unfortunately is beyond our control. That said, we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will continue to monitor and take any additional steps we can to ensure the comfort of our guests. Thank you again for staying with us—we’re happy to hear you found the space clean, tidy, and comfortable. We would love the opportunity to host you again in the future!

The walls and ceiling are paper thin. The entire week we could hear everything the people above us were saying and doing. It was understandable on New Years Eve. The water leaked out of almost all the faucets. It is very close to downtown but a steep incline. We walked one day and I almost didn’t make it back to the apartment lol.

Regarding the noise, as discussed during your stay, we did immediately reach out to the guests in the unit above after you let us know and asked them to be mindful. The property is located in a condominium building, so some level of shared noise can occur, especially during major holidays like New Year’s when many guests are celebrating. Unfortunately, noise originating outside of our unit is beyond our direct control, but we did our best to address it promptly. Concerning the faucets, our team completes routine maintenance and inspections after each guest’s departure, and no issues were reported prior to or during your stay. We were not made aware of any leaking faucets while you were in the unit, and we’re always happy to address any concerns as soon as they’re brought to our attention. As for the walk back from downtown, the condo is located in the mountains, which does mean hilly terrain. This is also what allows for the beautiful mountain setting and views. For guests who prefer not to walk uphill, the free Gatlinburg trolley conveniently stops at the bottom of the hill and provides an easy alternative. We truly strive to provide a five-star experience for every guest, and we’re sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Our family of 6 had a wonderful time! Upon arrival, the condo was clean, well prepared, and the coffee maker was filled and ready to go! It was nice that it was decorated for the holidays as well. My husband and kids were able to see the condo from the top of Anakeesta lookout tower. Finding a parking spot on the upper part of the lot can be difficult if you get there after 9pm. Take the stairs from the upper lot instead of the ones in the middle of the building! The location is within walking distance to the parkway but it does have a pretty steep incline.

Served the purpose

Husband and I stayed for a quick visit. Just needed a bed and shower mostly since we didn’t plan to cook. Found it hard to find a place that allowed smoking on the property. Thankfully this place allowed smoking from the balcony. Had a great view of downtown Gatlinburg. Wish we had been warned about the # of stairs needed to get to the 2nd level. No elevator.

This was a great, quiet location in the hills above Gatlinburg! Communication and check-in with the owner was easy, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, good parking and great WiFi. The Jacuzzi was fantastic, and the linens were good, too.Note there are no elevators and quite a few steps to get to this unit on the second floor. This was fine for us but may be difficult for some.As a retired apartment manager, I was disappointed in the strong smell of cigarette smoke when first entering the unit. It’s not coming from the open balcony door as mentioned in response to a previous review, and instead suspect it’s coming from the vent in the laundry/hot water tank area. That will be difficult or impractical to fix.The recliner was broken, and the owner said a new one has been ordered to replace it soon.The kitchen faucet and both bathroom sink faucets drip and cannot be fully shut off. All 3 faucet washers need to be replaced—a simple and inexpensive fix for a property manager or homeowner. If these items were addressed, we’d stay here again. We enjoyed our stay, and we’re hopeful and confident the owner will address the issues mentioned for future guests.

This was perfect for my family of 6. They had a beautiful view & we had 4 interactions with bears! The only downside was we have 2 year old twins and they didn’t have a lock on the inside of the main door. It was locked on the outside so nobody could enter but ANYONE from the inside can open the door to do outside. They told us to prop a chair in front of the door so children couldn’t get out so that’s what we had to do.
