Welcome to Egret’s Walk retreat! Opening our new home (and new listing!) to guests of the Outer Banks is our pleasure.

Featuring a reverse floor plan, the home provides a spacious top level open layout with beautiful views for gathering. The homeowner designed this retreat using custom finishes and furnishings with a goal to celebrate the natural surroundings. With east and west facing windows and balconies, you will enjoy waterfront and wildlife views with sunsets and sunrises! Here you'll enjoy a luxurious experience that's "off the beaten path", yet still within the heart of Kill Devil Hills, just minutes from the area's top attractions. Make sure to sip morning coffee on the deck as the Osprey family fishes for breakfast, and Snowy Egrets tiptoe through the creek. It's a perfect getaway for families or couples looking for water access, relaxation, and gathering together for lifelong memories on the Outer Banks.

Ground Level:
A covered carport comfortably holds 2 vehicles and has a private outdoor shower. Inside the entryway, a Queen bedroom is located down the hall. This bedroom offers peaceful guest privacy, as well as views of the creek and surrounding tall grasses. This bedroom offers its own private full bathroom.

Mid Level:
Daylight floods into the stairwells, leading you to the other bedrooms. Here you'll find the Master bedroom with a plush king bed and a private balcony overlooking the creek and accompanying wildlife. This bedroom has a private full bathroom with exceptional daylight and a spacious walk-in shower.

Included on this level is the twin bed room also boasting wonderful creek views and natural daylight. There's a built in desk and storage in this room for use as a dedicated workspace during your trip. This room also features a full bathroom.

Top Level:
Up the stairs and past a half bathroom, the top level features a fully stocked and spacious kitchen with all new appliances and bar seating. You can do the dishes while enjoying waterfront views right from the window!

Alongside the kitchen is an open dining area equipped with ample seating and a view out to the balcony. You can also dine or lounge on the balcony which features abundant views of the creek and a front row seat to our resident Osprey family!

A large living room serves as our favorite area for gathering. There's comfortable seating for all and plenty of space to enjoy games, movie nights, and wildlife viewing! You’re invited to take part in a curated aviary experience from within our home. There's a book introducing shore/marsh bird species and binoculars for viewing, enjoy the views!

Other things to note
While located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, Egret’s Walk is centrally located and just minutes from some of our most notable attractions on the OBX. The famous Wright Brothers Memorial is 3 miles away, as well as the beloved Multi Use Path, perfect for a bike trip through scenic parts of town. The Ocean Bay Beach access is only a 6 minute drive, with lifeguards and public parking. The Family Recreation Park and Skate Park are just 3 miles away, and a few minutes down the bypass you'll find the Nags Head Woods preserve with several hiking paths.

The home is very close to some of our best restaurants. The Saltbox Cafe, a local favorite with great seafood and Sunday Brunch, is a 1 minute drive around the corner! Colington Pizza is close for an easy To-Go or delivery option and the nearby Colington Cafe is known for its romantic dinner setting. Billy's Seafood, a couple minutes down the road, offers fresh and locally caught seafood that they’ll steam to perfection on site. Head back to the bypass for nearby grocery stores and all other conveniences, as well as more restaurant options.

Guests have access to the Colington Pointe amenities which include a community pool, basketball net, fishing/crabbing dock, community boardwalk, and a launch area for personal watercraft (kayaks, SUPs, canoes...!) no boats, RV's, or trailers are permitted. Parking is limited to the driveway only - additional parking is not available.
