Steps to Waikiki Beach- STUDIO!
Feel the island’s Aloha in this Cozy and Stylish Studio! Steps from Waikiki beach, shopping. dining and sightseeing....fully furnished to every detail to make your stay comfortable.
LOCATION!!! You are only steps away from the world famous Waikiki Beach!
The space
Our newly renovated studio is located in the Kuhio Village Towers, where you are steps away from Waikiki Beach, near the Duke Kahanamoku statue! You are also less than a 10 minute walk from the International Marketplace, and Royal Hawaiian Center, where you can shop and dine! Every corner there is something to do, somewhere to eat. It's all about location in Waikiki, and our space is just that!
In our our Cozy, upscale studio, you will find a Queen sized memory foam bed & a full size sofa bed. (It may get tight with 3 adults but a third person is an option;) Sit back and unwind with our 43" SMART TV and stream using our 300mbps wifi service. A new AC unit was installed in August 2024. A Bluetooth Bose speaker system is installed for your enjoyment while in the unit. This is a corner unit and boasts of 2 separate balconies- we've outfitted one with a 2 seater bistro table for al fresco dining... and the other balcony with a lounge chair for relaxing.
Bath towels and bath necessities, such as full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available for your convenience. We also have beach chairs, umbrellas for your use.
Our kitchenette is equipped with a mini-fridge, coffee maker (keurig pods included), hot water kettle, toaster and a hot plate, airfryer, toaster if you choose to make a simple meal. We also provide basic cooking pans, utensils, seasonings and oil. We want you to feel at home while you're here, so please let us know if anything is needed before check in.
Our location couldn't be any more perfect! Wether you wanted to go visit the beach or get a quick bite or even if you're feeling a bit adventurous and want to go on a hike! We are next door to some of the islands best food trucks, mid to fine dining restaurants and world class shopping. With such a central location to bustling Waikiki, please expect the noise and hustle and bustle that comes with it. We provide a noise machine on the bedside table and ear plugs (under the bathroom sink) for light sleepers.
Our space is the perfect jump off spot for either. We are located less than a 5 minute walk to the world famous Waikiki beach, and less than a 10 minute walk from the International Marketplace or Royal Hawaiian Center. Local eateries are located right downstairs, as well as a food trucks next to our building or right across the street for dessert. Whatever you decide, know that we're in close proximity to anything.
For guests coming from farther away (Australia, New Zealand, US East Coast etc.) and have flight arriving very early or departing late- please consider booking an extra night for your comfort and convenience so you can get early check-in or late check-out.
**IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
You are in central Waikiki and we do front a busy street, so some noise is expected. Ear plugs (under the bathroom sink) and a noise machine (on the bedside table) are available at your convenience if you have the need for them.
For your comfort we have just replaced the AC window unit (new 10,000 btu installed in aug 2024).
Kuhio Village Towers is an older building but well maintained condominium & while our space has been recently renovated and very well kept thru the years, our building has long time residents. Please follow all house rules.
Upon check in, if there are any visible issues that have to do with cleanliness, or if you feel something is not up to your standards, please reach out within 24 hours of check in so we can make things right!
Check-in is 3pm and Check-out is 10am. Due to cleaning schedules, and we want to make sure that we have enough time to prepare the unit for your stay, no check in is permitted before 11AM.
Please, rinse off all sand before entering the building/unit. Washing sand off yourself or your beach gear in the bathroom will clog the drain pipes. There will be a $75 fee (requested) if there is extra time needed to clean or repair due to excessive sand.
There is a monthly WATER SHUT OFF EVERY FOURTH TUESDAY OF THE MONTH
from 10a-2p. Please plan accordingly. We will send you a reminder if this happens during your stay.
Beach chairs, beach umbrella, towels, beach mat's, sunblock, and after sun care (aloe) are happily provided in the unit for your use and enjoyment. Please shake off all sand from beach supplies before entering the unit.
Lost Key or Locked Out Fee:
We provide 2 sets of keys during your rental. One is in the lock box and another is in your unit. We suggest that you put the set back in the lock box after you let yourself in and use the set of keys provided in the unit during your stay. This way, you have a spare in case you misplace the keys or lock yourself out. Our island co-host does not live in the property and will have to travel to you in these cases. We will charge $125 if we have to meet you at the property to let you in or provide replacement keys.
Other Notes:
- We cannot offer early check-in or late check-out.
- The unit DOES NOT come with parking. Although there are limited paid parking spots in the building basement on a first come first served basis or in surrounding areas at 30$/for 24 hours or $4/hr.
- Biki Hawaii (public bike system with many pick up & drop off spots near by. Download the Biki app)
- Public transportation (bus stops) are nearby as Kuhio Ave is a major road in Waikiki.
- Ebike rental and luggage storage service at the building lobby - 808eVentures
- Rental Car Company right next door to the condo if you decide to rent a car for part of your stay - Honolulu Discount Cars (look up on google, airbn does not allow ups to post tel #); Uber and local car share app Hui is also an option.
