This cottage is in a perfect location and is wonderfully decorated. We lived at the table on the front porch as it gave us a view of the beach and the play area(breakfast, lunch and dinner) Our granddaughters visited one day and we were very comfortable with them going to play basketball and play pickle ball by themselves because we could see them. Alisa and Yale have done a great job updating the cottage, and yes it has an amazing outdoor shower. We could not have picked a better place

Had an amazing stay here as a family. House was very clean and all the comforts of home! Very close walk to the water as advertised and the beach did not disappoint. The kids loved the beach, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball courts and playground all just steps from the house. Bonus that the hosts left all the balls and rackets to use and also the beach equipment (umbrella and wagon) was very helpful! Highly recommend choosing this house for your stay!! Also, hosts were very responsive when booking the listing and quick to answer my questions! Our family is looking forward to returning to this house in the future!

This house was the perfect getaway for my husband and me and we came at the best time... soon after Labor Day. The house was exactly as advertised -- overlooking the beach and just a five minute walk to the shore. We especially enjoyed sitting out and eating breakfast on the porch every morning. And the outdoor shower was heavenly! The house and its kitchen had everything we needed. Alisa answered any of our questions within minutes.I highly recommend it, and suspect we'll be back.

Fortunately this sweet, charming Point O'Woods cottage is being offered as a rental. Growing up in this wonderful shore community I have to say this is one of the best views of the boat basin, boardwalk and ocean. Sitting in the Adirondack chairs the owners have provided on the front yard and staring out the porch windows will be lasting memories. Fall is especially beautiful there. Owners are great to work with! But shh, should I continue in fear that this new charmer will always be booked. :)

We had a beautiful week at this lovely cottage! This is the kind of place that feels like home as soon as you walk in. There have been updates to make it comfortable, like air conditioning, a brand-new washer and dryer, a beautiful back deck, and a spacious and inviting new outdoor shower. But, none of the charm has been stripped out to accomplish this. If you’re looking for coziness and character, this is the place for you. The location is unbeatable—it’s at most a 5-minute stroll to the community playground, library, and of course the gorgeous beach. Our hosts were both proactive and responsive, reaching out before our stay and as our week was winding down, and the communication couldn’t have been friendlier. We had everything we needed and we would love to visit again! I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation.
