3-Bedroom Lake Home on quiet & scenic 396-acre Iron Lake. This tranquil escape is located just 3 miles north of Iron River, MI. This property features 100 feet of lake frontage with boat dock, firepit, indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, amazing sunsets, and opportunities for wildlife viewing, fishing, and boating. This property is conveniently located near many Northwoods iconic destinations like Ski Brule, blue ribbon trout streams, the Iron Range ATV trail system, and Youngs Golf and Recreation area. The 3 bedrooms feature queen beds with one of those bedrooms including 4 twins “the bunk room”. Amenities include Wi-Fi, heating, window A/C, washer/dryer, and 2 bathrooms with showers. The rental includes the use of a 2-person canoe, 2 kayaks, paddles, seats, and life vests. If bringing a boat, the boat landing is found at the north end of the lake. This lake is a no high-speed boating lake. There is plenty of parking on property for trailers if needed.

My family enjoyed the get away. Beautiful property, very quiet, clean. Has everything you need for an amazing trip. Fishing right from the dock, canoe, and kayaks. Had a blast exploring the peaceful lake. Loons, bald eagles, caught rock bass, sun fish, perch and northerns. Very clean and healthy lake with plenty of wildlife!!Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, enjoyed the views from the deck and with amazing sunrises and sunsets!!Plenty of outdoor seating and nice fire pit with dry wood. Gas grill for cooking burgers, dogs and stakes.

Property was thoughtfully stocked with everything you need including firewood. All the details of the layout of the property were well thought out, even provided an extension cord for charging my boat batteries. We will be back.

This was the perfect lake house spot for our group, which included two families with small toddlers and four single adults. Beautiful space, easy seamless check in, and a kitchen with everything we needed to cook and eat what we wanted

This property was absolutely beautiful! Between the home being even BETTER than the pictures, the loons & other wildlife constantly present, picking raspberries & just the vibes overall, it was a wonderful long weekend spent making memories in a beautiful location!

Iron River vacation

This was a beautiful lake house, conveniently close to Iron River. The house itself was one of the nicest vacation rentals we’ve been to recently. We were sad to leave!

Perfect summer getaway !

Great house in the woods on a quiet lake . Very clean upon arrival and well stocked with everything a family vacation would require . A bunch of board games , good selection of DVDs, a couple of Kayaks and a canoe. Probably the cleanest rental we’ve had so far in the UP.The host was very easy to communicate with quick response time .

Great Getaway

A great cabin getaway without having neighbors on top of us. The backyard is a nice overlook of the lake and firepit location allowed us to enjoy the view. Cabin has modern updates and the basement stayed especially cool throughout our hot and humid stay. Cabin layout is nice, with the ability to walkout to the yard up top and below. Kids loved the movie screen. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our family and dogs.

Our stay at this luxury home was spectacular. We loved the high-quality linens, the chef’s kitchen with gas range, and the porch and balcony in view of the large, quiet lake. The peaceful neighborhood was filled only with the sounds of loon calls and wind through the pines.As nature lovers and fishermen, we were right at home--we caught perch, pike, crappie, and bluegill, and spotted eagles, turtles, and deer. Squirrels, chipmunks, butterflies, and birds provided endless entertainment. We spent hours on the balcony, watching the world go by and playing cribbage. There's a closet full of other board games to choose from and two big screens for TV on cold or rainy days. The fireplace is lovely but in August was not needed. At night, we enjoyed pudgie pies made in the nicely stocked fire pit, which was a novelty! The hosts provide forks to roast marshmallow or hotdogs as well.We had plenty of hot water and good water pressure for showers, and the spacious living areas both up and downstairs were perfect gathering spots for our group. Iron River is just a short drive away, and we found it to be a friendly town with everything we needed for groceries. The house contained all other supplies we required.We can’t wait to return. Thank you, David and Tracy, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This property is amazing! From the space available to being able to bring our dogs it was perfect for our family. There was plenty of activities for the kids and my daughter loved watching movies on the projector. We picked some raspberries that lined the whole property and enjoyed the provided kayaks and canoe. I hope to make it a yearly getaway for our family.
