You can hear and see the ocean from 2nd-row dog-friendly 3B/2B (~1,076 sq ft), elevated, one-level cozy beach cottage with easy beach access right across the street. Sleeps 6. Covered front porch with four rocking chairs. The cleaning fee includes all bed, kitchen, and bath linens, you just need to bring your beach towels. Be sure to add your dog to your reservation so the $75 pet fee will be added. High-speed internet, smart TVs/Rokus, and less than 2 miles to restaurants, grocery, playground, splash pad, dog park, music in the park, etc. Fully stocked kitchen for those who like to save a little money and dine in.

House was as exactly as described and pictured. The host was very responsive. We love how dog friendly the property is. The dog beds, leashes, and toy box were much appreciated!

Loved this house and our dogs loved it more with all of the thoughtful amenities- extra toys and beds. So nice to see the ocean while sipping your morning coffee and a quick walk to the beach. It was perfect for our weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ruff Life. The house was clean and comfortable. You can see the ocean from the front porch and we spent every evening sitting out there. We really liked the area under the house and the outdoor shower. The house is incredibly close to the beach access so it was easy to go back and forth to the beach. We hope to come again!

We had a great stay at the Ruff Life cottage. Everything was clean and stocked with basic necessities, and the house is truly dog friendly. The dogs and humans all enjoyed spending time on the deck. The close beach access was super convenient and we had a great week of weather. Will definitely look for availability here when we are able to return!

House is comfortable, clean and everything you need is there including some basic spices for cooking. Even on hot summer days this house stays cool, which is not always the case at the beach. Beach access is a short walk. Provided beach gear is in good shape and ready for the beach. House is well stocked and the outdoor shower is great, a must for our crew, no indoor showers when at the beach! Thanks for sharing your beach house with us!

This location was perfect! We especially enjoyed the balcony and rocking chairs where we enjoyed the sea breeze. We brought our 2 dogs with us and they had plenty of room in the house and in the backyard. We had plenty of amenities and everything was very clean. Amy was easy to get in touch with when we had a small issue. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a great pet-friendly house super close to the beach. It was nice having a good size porch with a gate to allow our dog to dry off when he was still wet or to just hang out there. We had plenty of room with all the amenities we needed. We had a great time!

Great Vacation Spot

The home was extremely clean and well located. I’ve stayed at several Oak Island vacation rentals but this was the best set up of all we’ve stayed. I would highly recommend for anyone’s vacation stay.

Loved staying here! It was so close to the beach access, an easy 10min walk to restaurants, well stocked, and clean! Myself, my husband, another couple, their son, and our dogs all stayed here comfortably. Had a little bit of afternoon rain one day - but we enjoyed time to read on the deck and down in the hammock under the house. Kitchen was well stocked to make dinners.

So close

Loved how close it was to the beach! Had everything we needed. Our black lab loved sitting on the front deck when he wasn’t in the ocean playing fetch. Great for our weekend getaway. Hope to return!

Memories were made

We had such an amazing stay here. To travel as far as we did for a beach vacation with family (roughly 4,700 miles), this house met every expectation and we couldn’t have been happier with it. It was clean, no bugs and the close beach access was the cherry on top.

Beach trip

We loved how close the house was to the beach access and how clean the house was. It was very spacious and we loved the front porch. The kids loved the house. The only thing we would suggest if you bring children with you is to bring some toys from home for your children.

Quaint beach oasis

The property was conveniently located with beach access right across the street. Well maintained, clean property, and tastefully decorated. Great view of the ocean right from the beautiful wrap around porch. Would stay here again.

No Fuss Getaway

Great place to relax with your company and enjoy the quiet beach town. Simple, yet everything you’d need. Enjoyed the various sitting areas. Communication was easy and quick! Wonderful dog friendly beach. Great place to unwind for a few days.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We are North Carolinians and have visited about every beach along the NC, SC, and Georgia coast and it all pales in comparison to Oak Island, NC. It's by far our favorite! Its southward facing and wide beach provide gorgeous views, soft sand and lots of room to spread out. Everyone is so nice here and we find it very family, dog and turtle friendly! We are so blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to own a place at the beach and share it with friends and family. It's our hope that our guests get to enjoy this little slice of heaven and experience a "Ruff Life" you'll never want to leave!

Our location is perfect! just across the street from beach access, ocean views from inside and outside. No need to drive to the beach, just walk steps across the street. Lots of local restaurants and great grocery stores nearby. Music in the park! you couldn't ask for more.
