Ocean One 211 - Oceanfront 2nd Floor Condo

This 3 bedroom oceanfront condo sleeps 8 people comfortably with a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in bedroom 2, two doubles in bedroom 3, and a living room sleep sofa. Each bedroom has a full-sized private bath. With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 211 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Ocean One 211 is not updated as other units at Ocean One. The cost per week reflects the adjustment from other updated units at Ocean One.

Best Summer Vacation Experience Ever!!

Needs updating

The condo complex is very well maintained. One of the bathtubs dripped, called to report the problem and were promised a call back and never received one which was disappointing. The condo itself needs some updating. The unit is spacious and with some TLC it would be spectacular. From pictures and reading reviews we were aware it needed was a bit outdated but were surprised at the dingy living room furniture. Despite the fact we still had a wonderful vacation.

Nice location but needs updates.

The location was wonderful however the condo needs some major renovation. All 3 bathtubs were cracked and the hot water didn’t last long. The kitchen is very outdated and wasn’t very clean. Overall good for the money for location and ease of beach access but needs some upgrades.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very outdated condo. Needs updating. Back room has leaking shower so you have to listen to dripping all night if you’re in that room. Called office and they stated there is nothing that can be done as they have to go through other condo to fix. Besides that it has a beautiful view . It would be nice to have a spatula. We borrowed one from condo next door . We did have a great time.

Great unit. Great location. Work being done on the building a bit of a bummer and no elevator a major inconvenience as we were traveling with older relatives.

Beach Vacation with Seashore

They made sure we had the information we needed. We knew up front that Ocean One 211 needed updating, but it had what we needed for our group. Ocean One 211 does need updating, but it is clean, well maintained and well stocked with supplies and kitchen utensils.The pool was very accessible and enjoyable. And the beach was an easy walk with a well maintained walkway. The morning sunrise was beautiful.

211 Ocean 1

Rental should be updated before being allowed to be rented out again. We will not rent from this unit again. The current condition of this unit distracted from our enjoyment of our vacation.

Perfect location

The property location was ideal. It was a easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Beware this condo is VERY outdated. Two of my sisters stayed at Ocean One and their units were much nicer. This unit lacks fans, outlets are loose, ceiling is falling down in the kitchen, and all the cabinets are falling apart. If you can get past that, the location is perfect. Also just as an fyi the pool closes at sunset. We weren’t expecting that. The view is amazing.

Nice place for a beach vacation

The property was well kept and the location was perfect. The condo served its purpose. As stated in previous reviews it could use some updating but it was perfect for what we needed. We mostly stayed on the beach

Summer vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely wonderful time with our family during our stay. The location can’t be beat. Looking about at the ocean was amazing. But be forewarned, and the description in the listing even says, the unit is in desperate need of a major upgrade. Even with a lower price than other units in Ocean One that are Oceanfront, you are still paying alot of money for the week. If sitting on the balcony looking out to the ocean with a cocktail in your hand, this is fine for you. But if you expect a renovated unit without any outdated amenities then this is NOT for you! We have stayed in Ocean One 2 others times and LOVE the location. Close to Coligny and the Tiki hut, great pool and it’s nice having grills to cook out on. Also the fire pit area was nice to sit out by. But we were not able to turn them on, which would have been nice since the evenings were a little cool.

Perfect Location

Ocean One is the perfect location for a Hilton Head vacation. There’s easy beach access. It’s easy to walk to shopping and restaurants.

Another great stay at 211!

This is our second time this year staying at this property. We like the location and there is plenty of room for a group! We noticed a new dishwasher and great new Kuerig coffee maker. This property is outdated and the listing reflects it accurately through photos and price. The only thing we noticed was it wasn’t as clean as last time(dust on headboards and dirt in corners and floorboards. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Too outdated to rent.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not the best.Clearly the rental has never been updated. Furniture was dingy and cushions were very worn. We put a sheet on couch before sitting there. Mattresses were not great. Commodes were old and low---had to hold on to squat that low to sit down. No bars for holding on to while getting in and out of shower and tub was slick. Just very dated.I think it was as clean as it could be given the age of furnishings and carpet although those clearly had not been cleaned and needed to be discarded and replaced. I would not stay there again.This condo needs to be updated in the worst way.

The location is absolutely perfect and the views were amazing. Perfect location if you love to walk to close by restaurants, bars, and things to do. We has an issue with the Water heater, but the management company was quick to respond and get it fixed. The condo could use some upgrades, the couch, the twin beds, there were only 4 outdoor chairs and we needed 2 more. They have 2 can openers, but neither worked and the ice making was not working good.

211 Ocean One

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We 7 gals, 54-78, made our 19th annual pilgrimage to HHI, and were very happy Hurricane Ian missed us. We had a great time, as usual, despite 3 gloomy and stormy days. Oh well, no sunburns. The condo was exceptionally clean and is very comfortable, although not updated, so the bathroom all have tubs and curtains vs any type of grab bar, or walk-in shower (yes, we realized we are getting older!). Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans, but needs more forks and a working can opener. Furniture is old but very comfortable, so we didn’t feel claustrophobic on our shut-in days. As always, we loved this get-away and will request this unit again. We love Ocean One, and Seashore Vacations was very responsive to our needs.

nice location, dirty condo

Great location and roomy condo. furniture cleanleness was terrible. the couch and love seat were so dirty that we had to put covers over them before sitting on them. overall, the condo was extreamely dated and needs a lot of TLC

Great location but very dated condo inside.

This is my second condo within this building 2 years in a row. We love this location and the access to the beach is so easy and close as well as shopping and dining at Coligny Plaza and the Tiki Hut next door. The grounds are very well kept and security on the parking lot eases your mind. This property in particular was at a height you could see the pool and ocean from the balcony but but the beach as well but definitely could hear the waves. The condo itself was as clean as cleaners could get it but there were many things in disrepair. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were literally crumbling on the bottom. The faucets and shower heads were all lose and coming off and had been caulked so many times it was very dingy and dirty looking. Some of the shower heads had so much calcium build up they didn’t really work well. The furniture was very dated (several decades old) but comfortable and appeared pretty clean. Looked like newer carpet in the bedrooms and living room area. The tvs are all very old and have no smart features. There is no way to log into and streaming services. We didn’t even turn them on after finding this out. There were only like 15 cable channels. Glad we brought the iPad for the days it rained for the kiddos. The kitchen had most items need for cooking. Only things maybe missing would be some spatulas and plastic reusable cups. We will be back next year for sure in this building but probably not this unit.
