Oceanfront VIP condo sleeps up to 8 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, two queens in bedroom 3. With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 219 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property has a spacious kitchen, elegant decor, and outstanding views that make Ocean One 219 an excellent property.

Great location and plenty of room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Terrific lication; oceanfront condo. Having been in the beach condo rental business, there were some small things that could have easily been upgraded. Not enough hangers in the closets ( queen room for 2 adults only had 6 hangers). There was no tea kettle. Toilet seat / cover in Queen room was old and black marks showing through. The TV's were impossible to work. Batteries were either dead or there was a communication issue. We ended up watching foitball and movie on our laptops. None of these are big ticket items and could easily be remedied. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom wad a plus.

ocean one 219 rental review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been renting condos at Ocean One HHI for 37 years, HHI never fails for our large group vacation!We mostly have rented from Seashore vacations over the years which have been easy to work with.Our stress this year is the cost vs the quality units we rent, rent has gone up significantly every year yet the units deteriorate so not getting the value we were used to. Leaky toilets, ripped screens, furniture old and tired, bed linens old, cabinet doors peeling, patio furniture for 4 people only, wallpaper peeling off the wall,and the whole unit needed to be paint years ago. I know seashore can’t force the owners to update but weekly price does not reflect the quality of the unit.

Clean and Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo, Ocean One 219, was very clean and well kept. All appliances were pretty new and of course worked. The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the bathrooms were all in working and clean condition. The location of the condo was perfect. We had an awesome view of the ocean and the pool. We had a perfect view of the kids when they went to swim in the pool on their own. It was a short distance walk to the beach as well. We had a very nice experience at the condo.

Great first visit to Hilton Head

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week at Ocean One. Great location and very comfortable for our group of six. The only issues we had were: 1) a tech/TV issue, but the mgmt company sent someone to troubleshoot it very quickly; 2) two of the shower curtain liners appeared moldy; and 3) the kitchen supplies weren't up to par. The baking sheets in particular were completely unusable and I was shocked that they were kept in the unit to be offered to guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great stay and are likely to return to Ocean One, although I probably won't stay in 219 again.

Convenient location, excellent beach

We enjoy staying at Ocean One. We can walk to everything - grocery, dining, ice cream. The beach is awesome, and we like having lifeguards. We are a family of 10 and have plenty of room for all in the 3-bedroom and everyone has their own bathroom. We also cook quite a few meals at the condo and appreciate the full kitchen.

Accoutrements are sparce if staying a week or more, so bring your own tp, paper towels, dish/dishwasher soap. Would recommend condo owner install blind at front door as curtain would blow around if patio sliding door was open. Overall a great place to stay, grounds were beautiful and staff is friendly and approachable!

Great Views

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great ocean view overlooking the pool.There is an elevator. Plenty of parking. While work was being done on other unit balconies it did not interfere with our stay. The kitchen appliances appeared to be fairly new and there was a washer/dryer in the unit. There is more than enough of both intact, broken, old and dirty kitchenware. The cabinets are so full of this overabundance that there is little room for grocery items even in the pantry that also has one side full of broken, dirty items . There was no working can opener, extremely flat bed pillows, and very worn furniture. Far too many nick-nacks, and family photos. As a renter, these very dusty items all had to be relocated to childproof for the week. These owners treasures should be safely stored in the owners closets. The unit is in need of a thorough deep cleaning, inventory of items that can be tossed as well as a repainting. Less is more...Less of the unnecessary clutter and more of the necessary clean for the renter. We did have an issue with a leaking/broken shower head that was promptly attended to by the management company. We would stay at Ocean One again but in a different unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have been coming to Ocean One for many years. It is a great facility and a great location! This unit has amazing views from the living room and both front bedrooms. The pool is excellent as well. The unit was nice. We found the kitchen to be poorly stocked as far as cooking goes. Also, there are no beach towels in this unit. The beds were pretty comfortable and the appliances are updated. If you rent this unit, I would suggest bringing a couple of pots and pans as well as any beach equipment you need. Overall, another great week at Ocean One on Hilton head Island.

Ideal Location

We love the Coligny area.. this Condo was ideal for walking to the beach. I loved that every room had it's own bathroom in the bedroom. Lovey view of the beach while we drank coffee too.

Great location, crowded in the summer

We typically stay near Coligny, but we’ve never before been this close. It was a great, short walk for evening ice cream or shopping. The downside is finding a beach spot on a sunny day in July. My husband usually went down to put up our tent each morning around 8, if he didn’t, we were out of luck. The unit itself is clean, comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. What you see online is exactly what you get, and I thought that was a good thing. Quick flight down the stairs and 50 steps to the pool, another 100 to the beach. Parking in the parking lot is a bit iffy during peak months, they will not *guarantee you a spot, and sometimes we had to follow someone walking to their car to get a spot. We always got one, but I did see a truck parked in the landscaping one morning, I’m guessing he did not. The only other minor thing was the dryer, it makes a horrible squeaking sound. So much so that you don’t want to run it when you’re in the unit, and definitely not when asleep. The one big positive (for us) were the fans mounted on the wall in each bedroom. Nice, cooling and great white noise for sleeping. Overall, I would stay at this unit again in the off season, but probably a bit too crowded for July.

Wonderful Vacation

The Ocean One pool, access to the beach, access to the bike trails, close vicinity to Coligny, close vicinity to Celebration Park, and walking distance to a number of great restaurants made our vacation so pleasant!

The location of this condo is exactly where you want to be

When we checked It went smoothly! We had a terrible time with the dryer squeaked terrible! The towels where so moldy smelling had to all be washed! Sent a note to manager with no response. The location of this property is absolutely the best place to be! This condo is very outdated!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we found this property yo be old and tired. Carpets were dirty, Fridge was filthy, One curtain was hanging ( we ended up hanging it ourselves). The patio doorway in the master bedroom was completely boarded up. No view, no air, no emergency escape, and we were told this was that way since September. Contractors were building a new deck outside that door. We were not told of this ahead of time! It took us 6 days of visiting the office every day to get the plywood off the door, and then only after we contacted the contractor personally did we get the plywood removed. Nearly 50 percent of our holiday was taken up with trying to get that wood off. Bugs were a daily fright. Dishes eft a lot to be desired . Furniture and carpets need a good cleaning. Beds need replaced.We did receive 25 percent off of our original price as a result but that doesn't give us back the trip we paid for.This resort is expensive, and not worth the money!

Ideal location and accomodations

Eight woman gathered from 3 states to celebrate my 60th birthday. Sleeping was tight for 8 but we're all good friends. Everything else was spacious. Ideal location because all of us could do whatever we wanted, pool, beach, shop, restaurants and never have to get in a car.
