Shorewood 332 - Oceanview 3rd Floor Condo

With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 332 enjoy a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Shorewood pool area. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via Shorewood's beach walkway and then dip into the freshwater swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. King in the master, 2 twins in the 2nd plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Great, easy stay

We spent three nights (three adults, two kids <10) here and had a great experience. The condo has been updated and was very clean, and everything was in good working order. Parking was easy, beach access was convenient, pool was kid-friendly, and the location was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas with the family

Kitchen very well stocked for cooking, everything seem to be fresh & new in the villa, very tastefully decorated for the beach... view not so good.

We love Shorewood!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at shore wood three times now in three separate units. However, as with everything these days, prices on most units have inflated and were out of our price range and we were looking elsewhere. Someone must have cancelled and this unit popped up in our price range and I was excited. The unit itself could use some repairs/updates, but that would most likely put it in a new price range. Everything was satisfactory, and the view/location in unbeatable. If you are willing to sacrifice staying in an updated “fancy” condo for a better price range and same amenities/location, then this is your best bet.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 332Shorewood was a lovely location. Ocean view and great balcony. Artwork on walls was nice. Apartment was tired looking. Needs complete update ,cupboards falling apart in kitchen. Not well supplied with kitchen. Had bugs. Would not recommend renting this out until actions are taken.. WE FELL WE OVERPAID FOR THE CONDITION of this property. Rental service was very prompt when we called.

The unit we stayed in was not very clean.

We definitely over paid for this property. Stains on the carpet. Broken dining chairs. Kitchen drawers that fell out when you pulled them out. A good view of the ocean and close to the beach. The unit needs to be updated.

Great location and view

This is at a very nice location and we really enjoyed the area however the place really needs some updates. Bedroom blinds were broken and beds very uncomfortable. Only good thing was the view and location.

Loving Hilton Head

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to everything and there were so many great restaurants-all with live music. The complex was beautiful and in top condition. The condo is a spacious well designed space that is in need of love as it is a bit outdated. The unit and kitchen were well stocked but the cabinets were in poor repair. It was very clean and that is most important to us. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view. All in all we had a fantastic stay and hope to stay here again.

condo not recommended

The handle to the patio door was broken making it very hard to open and close. Strips of the blinds in the master bedroom were missing so there was no privacy. you were able to see through to the balcony. Two utensil drawers had signs on them to be careful when opening the drawer because it will fall out. Minimal kitchenware,,, So many more flaws in this condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay , my son is in a wheelchair and found the beach access so easy. The rental did have a few things that needed fixed. The door look would get stuck and cabinets needed repaired . Some of the window blinds were missing . But overall clean and met our needs . Especially for the price it was a great deal .

Great location and view but really needs updating

I can't believe anybody would rent out a vacation property that has kitchen drawers that fall out. (A note is taped to the top edge of the drawers warning "Drawers will fall out). REALLY! Also, carpet is worn out and dirty and patio chairs are rusted and broken. Not what you expect in HILTON HEAD!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed in Shorewood many times so I knew the location would be great. This unit however is very outdated. The kitchen drawers had warnings that they would fall out if opened too far. The window blinds were missing slats. The patio doors had not been replaced when many in the complex were several years ago. There was no TV in the second bedroom. The unit was clean.

Nice Stay

This property is exactly what was advertised. The unit was comfortable and served its purpose. Everything was functional and operational and had everything that you could need for the time spent inside. This unit has quick access to the pool, beach, and if in walking distance of everything you can need.

A great week at the beach

Villa is exactly what ya see in the pictures, not great but not bad, can not beat location and view, you will never spend enough time in villa to notice any flaws unless ya look except maybe the kitchen drawers, but whatever everything else worked fine, beds not perfect but comfortable, villa was very clean & comfotable. Patio awesome furniture a little rough. We had a blast. Cant beat the price for where your at ya just cant go in expecting perfection for spending a dime.

Cheap condo in Shorewood-for a reason

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic view from deck is best thing about this condo. The owners have not put any money into this condo to maintain it. Rather than fix the utensil door they put a piece of tape on it that says drawer falls out. Don’t plan on cooking in this kitchen No extras included in kitchen- not even salt or pepper. No extra trash bags, paper towels, etc. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Screen door from main bedroom does not open and one blind slat keeps falling off, which they’ve taped back on. Back bedroom has such dim lights, have to take suitcase out of room to see inside it. Air conditioning works very well, but temperature cannot be controlled. It was very cold in condo and we had to sit in deck to warm up. This would be a great condo if the owners cared enough to maintain it.

Outdated and dirty...Owner needs to refurbish or sell!!

Management company was outstanding!!!! Property was dirty, carpet old and stained, bathrooms from the 60,s, with rust and ancient faucets, toilet was like sitting on the floor, mattress was old and sagging, drapes and blinds were falling apart, patio door was old and rusted, kitchen was a disaster, sink coming apart, drawers fell out on the floor when opened, microwave rusted and dirty,washer and dryer ancient and noisy, OLD dirt everywhere, food left in drawers and moldy, no directions for the tv, kitchen cabinets loosing their varnish and falling apart

Beautiful views and perfect location!

The apartment had a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room balcony, as well as from the master bedroom. The location could not have been better, with easy access to the pool and the beach. Would definitely stay here again!
