Clean house, host was able to work with us on checking in early due to our early arrival. Everything in listing was accurate and was a nice and quiet place to stay!

Everything was great, I have no complaints. It was hard to figure out what supplies are needed though Chris lists amenities, which are plentiful, we had to grab paper towels and toilet paper a few days in. Obviously not a big deal as there's dishes, spices, towels, coffee ...

Great house as a home base for a scalloping trip. this was our second stay and with two families and two boats. The house and dock accommodated us all very well, the house has amazing amenities for our kids (age 5 thru 10), the dock fits two 20 ft boats easily, and the communication was great with our host Chris.

We have stayed in several great homes throughout Crystal River and this one was near the top. This property is properly setup. Highly Recommend!!!

Second year in a row staying at the mermaid house. The house is in great shape and working order, with everything you can think of for a great scallop trip with family and friends! The host is very communicative and ensures that all guests enjoy their time. The only downside to such a great house is that it's already booked again for next year, so we will have to switch to up.

We stayed for a weekend of fishing. The dock fit two boats perfectly. The outdoor space and pool were great! The home was also very accommodating with the Ice machine for use, a nice fish cleaning table, and plenty of pool toys for the kids. We will be staying again for sure!

Mermaid house was a great place. It was a clean well appointed home with all the fun stuff for the family. Location is awesome with easy access to the river from the canal. My 19’ deck boat handled the canal no problem even in low tide. Would definitely recommend this place!

This place was incredible! We enjoyed all the extras provided by the host that were not mentioned in the listing. All you need to do is pack clothes and show up, everything else is provided for you. The outside space was incredible. We enjoyed late nights out by the pool and fired up the grill to cook many meals. The ice maker was a huge hit with my family. It filled out coolers multiple times and saved us for buying multiple bags of ice. We enjoyed going to the dock to fish and was able to see a manatee and alligator while sitting on the dock. Overall, this place was a vacation in itself and was incredible.

The house was spotless, and the kitchen fully equipped to include a lot of spices and condiments. Not to forget a commercial ice machine and two refrigerator/freezers. Heated pool was great and room for entertaining a lot of people.

Everything was perfect. From the immaculate three bedroom home to the screened in heated pool, video games in the garage, the bicycles, the gas fire pit, the gas grill,the tiki bar and the docks on the river. There’s absolutely something for everyone. We travel the world and this property is one of the very best that we have stayed in. Chris was easy to work with and very easy to communicate with. The location of the property is absolutely perfect.we hope to stay here again.

This house is amazing, it’s in a central location on crystal river. The pool and patio are nice to come back to after a day on the water. Chris is a great host, we will definitely be back!
