Storm Cottage is a spacious side-by-side duplex villa offering moderate ocean views and views of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, making it a favorite for lighthouse enthusiasts. Designed for comfortable coastal living, this 2-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 6 guests and features a queen master suite with a private bath and deck access, along with a second bedroom furnished with two double beds and a bath.

The upper living level provides a bright, open-concept layout with comfortable seating, dining space, a fully stocked kitchen, and a convenient half bath that opens to an oceanside deck — perfect for relaxing after a day of island exploring.

Guests have access to resort-style amenities, including a pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, private under-house entry, private parking, and outdoor hot and cold showers. Great location in Buxton

Great place for 3 nights. Short walk to the beach and multiple places to eat in Buxton. Short drive to the point and Frisco. We will absolutely be back next yr.

It had great access to the beach and the place we rented was perfect for 360 views. We would definitely stay there again.

Close to the church and reception hall. The short few minute walk to the water and sand was great! The cottage was what we were looking for our 3 night stay, updated and clean, we would definitely come back to this same place again in the future

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an awesome time. The cottages were clean, close to the beach. We had a mix up on days we were supposed to check out. I asked to check out on a Saturday when I made the reservations. They had check outbound Friday. On Friday we were on Okracoke and they called and wanted to know why our stuff was still there. Anyway..they moved our stuff to another cottage for the night and gave us a great discount. We will be going back and we recommend them.

Wonderful Accomodations!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for a small family or two couples, this is a wonderfully appointed cottage at an outstanding value! The upper floor living space is bright and full of windows that have some view of the Atlantic and the attached deck even offers a view of Hatteras lighthouse. It also has a half bath for convenience during gatherings. If additional couples are in the plans, rent both halves as the upper deck can combine and there is easily space for entertaining 8 -12 in the upper floor interior. Each bedroom has it's own full bath and the master has it's own deck with patio doors. The decks are connected by stairs to ground level. Laundry Facilities and sand showers are sheltered by the carport. But most importantly, it's a 2 min. walk to the beach, or pool and the central location at the curve on 12 leaves you only a 20 min drive to Hatteras Village shopping and ferry to Ocracoke, with restaurants, beach rentals, gift shops and great little pizza joint on the way. Only 10 minutes through the National Park to the Hatteras Lighthouse. Only 10 minutes to Avon for full grocery and shops. Excellent convenience for the entire southern Outer Banks.The office is a 2 minute walk or a phone call away, and everyone was very nice and helpful with any need. This is a great base for the southern OBX!

Always a great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I am very happy with the unit. We have stayed there before and it is our favorite place. There were a couple of issues with spiders and silverfish. I already spoke to someone out it and she will be getting an exterminator to check the place and treat for pests. There are a couple of loose rails on the upper deck that need nailed down. Also, the ceiling fans were a bit fuzzy and the return air vents needed cleaned. Other than those minor issues. We are very happy with our stay and already have next year booked.

Close to the beach, view of the light house

One upgrade would be to have an Ethernet port accessible in each unit for access to the Internet via plug instead of just WiFi. Most units have Ethernet ports in the back of the Cable/TV/WiFi router. Apparently, my unit shares a connection with the adjoined unit and the Cable box is in their unit. So, I could not plug into an Ethernet port.

House was in a good location, pool was nice , people were nice, the yard did have some trash that needed picked up and the ceiling fans need cleaned! I was not a fan of no lifeguards on the beach and people fishing at all hours of the day while we were swimming but, we just went to the pool.

My new favorite place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The back unit #280 has a great view of the lighthouse and a natural vegetation hedge that contains all sorts of wildlife. We watched a rabbit there everyday as well as sparrows, catbirds, katydids and toads. My kids loved it! The unit has an outdoor shower, a waterhose and access to shared laundry under the house. I wasn't expecting those extras!! It's an awesome space. The decks could use some maintenance. Watch out for splinters and nails. Overall, we loved our stay and we'll be coming back next year!
