Manatee, turtles, and alligators have been known to visit our canal. Sail-fin Catfish, sheepshead, trout, Red Snapper, Snook and Red rish are some of the fish that can be found in the area. To see or catch them for sure we recommend a tour or fish charter. Boat rentals are also available nearby.

SCALLOPERS!! We love scalloping. Crystal River offers one of the few remaining areas to scallop in Florida during the summer. Crystal River has the best Scalloping grounds in the US and best action is usually around 4-6 feet of water. If you do not have your own boat there are tons of charters that will get you where you need to be! If you have never done this and you are here during season, it's a MUST do!!

The home is approximately 5-10 minutes drive to Kings Bay, 3 sisters spring, Hunter Spring and 10 minute drive away from Fort Island Beach where you can swim or enjoy a beautiful sunset!
