Fabulous vacation rental home in the heart of Crystal River! Bring your boat! There's no bridge blocking your way to the Gulf. Home is fun ready! Boat or Kayak from the 8 x 20 floating dock (open on both ends) to the local fun spots. Spacious home with very open floor plan for family fun! 3 Bedroom 2 Bath, sleeps 10 people. Great place for family and friends to gather for some rest and relaxation after a busy day on the water. Fully equipped kitchen that's waiting for the seafood chef in you to cook the catch of the day, or enjoy your meal cooked on the gas grill on the outdoor deck. At least 6 kayaks and life vests are provided. Three Sister's Springs and Hunter Springs are nearby. The "Plantation Inn" is walking distance and you can launch your boat there for a small fee. Fishing tournaments, manatee tours, boat & paddle board rentals, sunset cruises are all nearby. You're also very close to several of Crystal River's best rated restaurants. Come see what Crystal River has to offer and swim with the manatee! The house is on a beautiful half acre lot for your enjoyment with ample parking. Short boat ride to the gulf and no bridge to worry about. Let's start packing! If the home is ready, early check in may be available. Purchasing trip insurance when you book is recommended. BOOKINGS MORE THAN 2 WEEKS REQUIRE APPROVAL. Property has exterior cameras. If cameras become deactivated during your stay, owner can access property to reset with very short notice. Some pets allowed, pet fee required ($75/wk or $200/mo per pet).

Girls Getaway

The property was perfect for us. Great that it was so close to our meeting point to swim with the manatees and restaurants. The accommodations were clean and welcoming. Pictures accurately capture the property and its amenities.

Kayak with the Manatee’s

House was impeccable. Check in so easy! Great communication with the owner. We added two people to our group last minutes and there was no extra charge. She also allowed us a later checkout time which was so nice! Plenty of towels and kayaks for our group of 10. Right on canal and was close to where the manatees were. We will be back!!!

Great family escape

My extended family rents a house on the water to celebrate the holidays together each year. This house was the best we’ve had so far, in terms of house layout and space to be together inside. We were able to have family meals and play board games at the dining room table and there was enough seating in the living area for people to gather. We also had a great time hanging out by the dock while some of us fished (they caught some perch, catfish, and mangrove snappers thanks to the brackish water). The bedroom setup worked perfectly for us. Only small hiccup was one of the bedrooms looks like a converted office or den and there is a large window and frosted glass doors looking into the kitchen that allowed a lot of light in that room. Because some of us went to bed earlier than others, we figured out how to cover the top window with a sweater to block the worst of the light. Might be helpful for a more permanent solution to be figured out for others, but we made it work. The house is well supplied with laundry supplies, towels for bathrooms and outside, etc. A few more dish towels and washcloths for bathrooms would have been helpful. We were excited to use the kayaks, but the weather prevented that (chilly and windy) but the floating dock was well situated to put kayaks in (for those with some mobility issues,it would be harder). Communication with host was great, she was very responsive and friendly.

Great stay

The property was very welcoming and clean. We came to paddle with the manatees and enjoy Crystal river. Short paddle to the bay and a little workout to the further springs, the kayaks were comfortable and I was able to bring the pup. Definitely would stay again!

Annual Friendmas with the Manatees

Usually stay at the Plantation with separate hotel rooms. This beautiful home is right across the canal from where we normally launch our paddle boards. And it was a bonus there are kayaks available for those of us who didn’t have a paddle board.

Girls getaway

This is a beautiful property…clean and comfortable with so many outdoor features that just made this trip so perfect! We were able to launch the kayaks right from the backyard dock, coffee next to be water, games, grill. I just can’t say enough good things about our stay! We will definitely be back for another stay :)

Labor Day weekend

We got a boat from across the canal to go to springs for diving and exploring; the location is perfect. The kayaks at the house were fun for all of us, we went out to the bay many times. The house is well supplied.

Excellent location

We wanted to have a family get together before the kids went back to school. We had also not gone scalloping for several years, the house was a perfect place for us to be able to accomplish both. We rented a boat close by and scalloped for 2 days. Some of us were able to go kayaking with the boats available at the house. We definitely want to come back.

Perfect canal cul-de-sac home!

A great home at the end of a canal with easy floating dock access to the house. We found everything we needed in Donna's home whether it was towels and detergent or table games and foosball. The proximity of the house to the Plantation Adventure Center was perfect for getting our boats in/out of the water fast; we could watch the ramp traffic from the back patio! A few in our group explored several of the springs nearby courtesy of the many kayaks on offer on property. Donna was quick to respond and able to accommodate our dogs. We will definitely consider this home again on future scalloping trips!

Grandkids trip

Overall it was a really nice clean home, with lots of room. The dock was really nice and there was lots of room for our pontoon . There was a lot of extras in the kitchen, lots of dish soap, laundry soap and bath shampoo and everything you could need. I did leave a frying pan in the laundry room that had been burnt and put in the back of the pantry. Thank you for making it easy for us.

This is a beautiful home that was recently remodeled on a canal leading to the Crystal River. It is in great shape and very accommodating for guests. Open layout, no carpeting, foosball table for the kids to play. It is in walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants. Close to all that Crystal River has to offer.
