The Sunset River Cottage is perfect for your vacation getaways. The River Cottage is a one room cozy boathouse efficiency that sleeps four with a large screened in porch. The Cottage has great views of the River and a covered boat slip with lift. Easy boat trip to Silver Glen, Salt Springs and Lake George. Wild Oaks Golf Course nearby. Long dock on the river with fire pit with Great fishing right off the dock. 10% discount for weekly stay, 20% for month or more.

Great getaway

Perfect spot on the St Johns River.

A great location on the northern end of Lake George. STUNNING sunsets! A short boat ride to 2 fun springs and the Ocklawaha River. The covered boat lift was fantastic! Our boat has an 8' 6" beam and I'd say that's the MAX width for the lift. We didn't try to lift the boat, as we didn't want to damage anything, so we just tied off under the covering and enjoyed. REALLY nice to just untie and head out for a day of fun.

Overall good!

We had a good time overall. It was difficult getting boat in and out of property. If boat is 20 ft I would not recommend pulling it to house. There is nowhere to turn around. There are boat ramps close with trailer storage, though.

Perfect for us

This was our first visit to this little gem and looking forward to a return stay. My husband enjoyed reeling in the fish. I loved the scenery and quiet time to read. A lovely place to unwind. The manager was helpful and also Don and Brenda were great.

On the river

Perfect for bringing our boat to do some fishing and exploring. A great space for the two of us with a beautiful location right on the river, while the boat was secure on the canal side. A fun but peaceful retreat a short boat ride from Renegades.
