Quaint Historical Southtown - La Casita on Simon

Escape to La Casita on Simon, an original turn of the century home built in one of San Antonio`s oldest neighborhoods. We are steps from the famous River Walk and an easy stroll to some of downtown`s best dining. Blend the historic with the new: 2 Gbps fiber optic; Tesla Solar Roof; EV charging; exceptional split air conditioning; and Amazon Fire TV. Our friends and family clamor to stay in our casita when they come to visit.

Treat yourself to this unique neighborhood and all her charms.

Main house out front. Well lit from the street.

Casita is located down driveway into the back yard, through the wooden gate.

The path will light up for you with motion sensor lights along driveway and into the back yard up onto the casita`s porch.

You are welcome to use the driveway..

You are welcome to use the entire back yard.

You are welcome to use the EV charger. Currently CCS with NACS adapter available.

You can call, text or knock. We would love to say hi, but will respect your privacy when you are around.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond by providing snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel very welcome. Everything was just as described, and I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

What a gem in SATX! This was the perfect getaway for a mini vacation. The Casita was clean, lovely, and the hosts stocked the kitchen with lots of goodies. We absolutely loved staying here and would stay again!

We did enjoy our stay, the space was sufficient enough for us two and the amenities were everything we may have needed. The snacks were nice too!

We had a great experience with our stay. The house was clean, location was amazing - a lot of cafe and restaurants in close vicinity. The best part was the small goodies available in the house for us :)Will surely come back again!

i was visiting home with my partner and this place was the perfect spot to stay at while showing someone the real part of SA. It was so cozy and the location was perfect ! not far from the trendy areas of san antonio and not far from the fun. I loved this place very much and will definitely be coming back. The host is super friendly and easy to reach.

We had a wonderful staycation at this property. The proximity is closer to La tuna and Habitat for Humanity, which allowed us easy access to all the fiesta festivities. We will definitely go back again. It was very clean, quiet, and offered all the essential amenities.

Had an excellent stay. Place had everything we needed and was located in an excellent location near King William Neighborhood and the Blue Star Complex. Private driveway parking is also included ! Would stay again and recommend to friends and family !

This cottage has a rich history and has been restored to perfection. The bed was comfortable, plenty of plugs, and organized. I loved all the suggestions wish the weather was better.

It was the cutest house. Plenty of space, lots of snacks, and even a pool. We drove up, charged up our car, and had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be staying here again.

The casita was charming, clean, and a perfect fit for two people. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the snacks and drinks that were offered to us. The details in the modern technology with Alexa, smart tv, etc made our stay very comfortable.

Clean room, super welcoming and kind host. Lots of accommodations. Fridge full of drinks and a bunch of snacks. Very nice people, felt very safe being in their backyard. 10/10 would recommend.

We will stay here again! Everywhere we went was within 20 miles. Host was amazing. The Casita was very clean and stocked with drinks and snacks. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. If you like breweries, Künstler is two blocks away; walking distance.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay! Everything was perfect and I couldn’t have been happier! Wish we could’ve taken advantage of the pool but it was a little too chilly. Honestly one of the better places that I’ve stayed! Will definitely be back again!

This property was beautiful and so modern!! Small, cute, and perfect for a couple. Pictures don’t do justice! They had complimentary snacks and drinks….This will be our stay when we come to San Antonio. Owner was very friendly. The host is very welcoming. We've stayed here twice now. It's always very clean, lots of drinks and snacks, and such a lovely property. It's a great location if you're visiting Southtown or downtown. The best part for us is that they provide a level 2 charger for our electric car. You will need an adapter if you own a Tesla. We will definitely be staying here again.

We so enjoyed our stay at your casita. Our trip their was in the heat of July and they had the a/c on for us. It was even better than expected. We met the hosts they were friendly and accommadating. They were from Canada they said and I have yet to meet anyone from Canada that wasn't friendly. The casita was so charming, so cheerful and such a well planned little home. It was originally built in 1911 I was told instead of 1920 as add read. I felt rich just to stay there. Not only was the hosts so nice but they offered refreshments to meet everyones needs. The refreshments were definately a bonus. If I am in the area again this will be my home away from home. Thank you so much Kerri and Keith for being great hosts and welcoming us into your little casita. Much appreciated our stay. Thanks again,Eddie and Dianne

It was really clean. Very small and very close to the main house and the neighbor. I thought it was a little more private. I should have asked questions. But for the price very nice.
