Beautiful home. The dunes were fun, the beach was close as were the other activities we did as a family.Would totally stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed a few days at the Salt Pink Cottage. Our boys loved spending time on the dune. With a couple of red flag days at the beach, we appreciated being able to walk to the Sound side for swimming and playing. The cottage is charming and had everything we needed for our stay. We would love to return for a longer stay!

The property was awesome. My family and I had an amazing week. The state park and the dunes are right in the back yard where you could watch the most amazing sunsets and rises. The ocean and the sound we right there as well with plenty parking to enjoy both. We will definitely be back.

Our kiddos had a great time building many things with the toys provided. It was great watching them create. The house also has puzzles, games and cards to keep everyone entertained.

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in The Pink Salt House. It’s situated in a perfect location for small families and offers a lot of activities that are walkable. We spent a lot of time on the Dunes and sound-side beach, creating lasting memories. The home is clean and comfortable, outdoor scenery is beautiful, and the hosts are extremely kind and responsive. We will definitely rebook in the future.

Great location!! Our kids (9 and 6) had the best time on the dunes and soundside beach. Great recommendations for food and attractions in the info packet. The house is older, but charming and well-maintained. We had a couple of cool nights and had to reach out to the owners for help on getting the heat going but they were very quick to respond. Beyond the house, we enjoyed the proximity to lighthouses, lost colony and Manteo’s festival park attractions. Great mix of activities and opportunity to relax- overall, truly great vacation spot with kids!

Lovely, clean home with a great beach aesthetic. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a week at OBX, including beach gear. Plenty of good dining options nearby and great access to the sound and beach, though would recommend driving to both. Check-in / check-out process was a breeze and host was very responsive, even taking the time to mail my son’s blankie when we drove home without it. Thank you, Austin!
