Ocean block duplex, second floor, one house from the beach. (First floor, listing140175, is pet friendly) Just a few steps through the sand dunes, to the white sandy beach. Easy for children to go to and from the house. Many amenities to make your stay comfortable. Each room is air conditioned. Very clean and well maintained. There is a master bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom which sleeps three (bunk beds and a twin), and a sleep sofa which sleeps one, for a total sleep capacity for six. The house has wireless Internet, streaming TV, a renovated well equipped kitchen; outdoor shower; and grill and washer/dryer. Table and chairs on the deck for outside eating. Beach chairs and umbrella are provided. Close to restaurants and shops. One mile from Beach Haven amusements and shopping. No smoking. Discounted rates for June and September.

Great location, nice deck to relax after a day at the beach.perfect size for 5-6 people. Was nice to have garbage bags and soap provided.

Awesome location

This was the perfect place for my family- the kids spent most of their time at the beach or outside on the deck with their friends so didn’t need a ton of space to hangout in.

The property was beautiful! Steps to the beach which made this vacation wonderful! The house was very cozy which made it a perfect beach house! Joan was the best every step of the way! We will definitely be renting again in the future. Thank you again!!

Pros: location to beach. The kitchen, needed paper goods, and beach supplies stocking was excellent! I packed a whole unneeded bag of supplies and beach chairs because I was unsure if there would be enough. Clean home. Plenty of extra pillows so more unneeded packed items.Cons: beds very hard( as a side sleeper my hips and shoulder still hurt). Electrical service was outdated with many extensions around and could not use my hairdryer unless all ac units and other appliances were turned off. Bad hair week! The ac units were horribly noisy but needed much of the time as the living room was the only room to get a breeze and there was an air quality alert. I believe an electrical upgrade and split system units would do a lot for this house.All in all we had a lovely time as the beach was our focus for renting.

We are glad you had a lovely time on LBI. Ours is an older house which we maintain well. Our pricing is consistent with age of the house and the amenities we offer. The costs of the improvements you suggest do not make economic sense. Were we to do them, or perhaps rebuild the house the rental fees would increase significantly. Please note that the window AC units are new. As for the beds hardness is a personal preference. They are of medium hardness, consistent with many hotels. WE are also side sleepers, have orthopedic issues and find them comfortable. Our listing states that we provide beach chairs, umbrellas, quilts, and pillows.

This house was such a great find! We only needed a small place and wanted to be as close to the beach as possible so this was a treasure. So convenient, it took my daughter 3min to go to the house and back to our spot at the beach for something we forgot. You can hear the waves from the porch or inside if the windows are open. The neighbor's backyard allows for a view of the water over the dunes. Small but well supplied kitchen, we had everything we needed. Already planning to go back!

It was my pleasure

This is a wonderful property. It is nestled in between some larger homes and has pine trees for shade. With a wonderful proximity to the beach, it sits on an alley with no house between the property and the beach. Although, you cannot see the beach from the house, you can certainly hear it. The upper deck, second floor of the duplex is a great place to sit day or night. One can sit below the deck in the rain!

Great Location

Spent a week as a family here and had a really good experience. The location was really the biggest draw for us and it didn't disappoint. Walking and biking vicinity to downtown Beach Haven was great for adults and kids, and the front of the house is steps from the beach. Use of the garage, with laundry, bikes, and beach supplies was especially nice. For our family of 5, we found the top floor to be a tad small but for smaller families, it'd be ideal. And we loved the dated, yet super-beachy, feel inside. To boot, we happened to have amazing neighbors below us that we immediately clicked with and are now in touch with after our stay. All together, recommended for folks looking for an authentic small house beach experience close to the action and beach!

Great beach house in great location!

We so enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean in this quiet neighborhood. Close to everything, particularly the beach (steps away), clean, well-stocked, and comfortable for a family of 4. We will definitely hope to return some day!

Relaxing at LBI

Very clean and near the beach. Loved having an evening gin and tonic on the deck as my wife and I watched the moon rise and the stars come.

Great beach hide-away

Awesome location: feels private in a busy neighborhood close to everything. Perfect size for a family of four. Very well appointed for cooking from home. My only wish to make it a little better would have been a couple of easy chairs on the deck.

Cozy Beach Block Cottage

Great location with quick access to the beach. Convenient location to great food and Bay Village. Love the tradition knotty pine interior. Comfortable couches. Joan was very nice to deal with.

We currently live in Monmouth County, about an hour north of LBI. We have owned and rented the house since 1989. Our two adult children have enjoyed spending time on LBI and continue to due do.
