Beautiful ocean front condo! We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sunrise! Even saw a couple turtles right out front. Can't beat the location. Easy walk to town, right on the beachfront path. Condo has all amenities you need. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Felt right at home.

Can't beat being right on the beach. Nice resort area and close to a lot of shops and restaurants. We would stay here again.

The condo was very clean and well stocked. Even the kitchen. Impressively.My only complaint was sliding glass doors were filthy. The room had a beautiful ocean view that was defused by the doors. There was windex in the condo but basically empty. Not enough for the window or the multiple glass top tables. We did clean some things with water, but were running out of paper towel and didn’t want to use the lovely with towels.

Great location on the island of Kauai, we enjoyed the oceanfront location and watching the beautiful sunrise! Also really appreciated the beach chairs available to use, there were also other pool toys and a cooler, so very nice to have those items there available to use.

3rd time at Pono Kai, we love it there. The beach is very small, and ok. 2 miles north is much better. Pono Kai is our home away from home, and Kapa'a is heart warming every time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was supplied with everything we needed even 3 belly boards, 2 beach chairs & beach umbrella!

Location was fabulous and beautiful. Amenities were abundant. Set up well for cooking at home. Whales and dolphins often seen in the bay directly in front. Lovely.

My wife and I love staying at Pono Kai. There is restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

Oceanfront in Kapa'a

We had a great stay in this condo. The resort area has lots of fun things, and the location is excellent for exploring the island. The sunrise views cannot be beat!

Kauai is fantastic, the condo was excellent. Easy to get to, everything close by, exactly as described. Tge best condo rental we have ever had in Hawaii!

We enjoyed our stay at Pono Kai. It was a good location to explore Kauai.

Relaxing Stay

Super place with all one needs! A bit noisy sometimes being on the ground floor but all in all we would definitely come back again!

Kapaa is a great centralized location for checking out the entire island. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and beach!

We had an issue with the TV and when we called the front desk we were told they do not handle problems as it is rented through VRBO. We were told to contact VRBO. No instructions on where to leave the key at checkout. We left it on a counter and the next day we got a text stating the cleaner couldn't get in as the key wasn't in the lockbox. The cleaner should have a key and where to leave the key should be in the instructions if that is an issue for them.Beautiful ocean view and wonderful wave sounds .

Excellent views

We really enjoyed our stay. Very centrally located with excellent views. We had our coffee and watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning.
