The cabin was perfect. Very quiet, secluded and peaceful. A great place to be at one with nature, especially in the indoor porch room.

Lisa was a great host. The cabin was well stocked, spacious with great views, and very private. Made for a much needed weekend getaway.

This property is exactly as described. It’s very quiet and surrounded by trees. The location is convenient to several restaurants within 15-20 minutes. There is no AC, though this is managed well by letting in cool air overnight and using fans. However, the 90 degrees and humidity of August did make it a bit uncomfortable towards the end of the day for folks who are used to high AC or are sensitive to humidity.

Did a small girls night here and we had the best time! Out there and quiet for a get away and plenty to do inside for colder weather we loved the bookshelf full of board games and books and the piano to tinker around on! The gas fireplace kept the whole place cranking with heat no problems Definitely would stay here again!

There were cobwebs and spiderwebs everywhere the pool had a cover on it and a sub pump on top of the cover. The house did not have air-conditioning, which would’ve been fine if there were multiple fans and things to cool you with, and that the windows were open and air was flowing through, but nothing was open. It looked like it had been shut up for ages.

The house instructions, which were shared with you, stated to remove the pool cover pump and use the key to open the motorized pool cover. The pump is required to remove rainwater from the cover. The listing description states there is no A/C. There are multiple fans in every room. I do not know why you did not open the windows. It is true, we keep the windows closed when there are no guests. If you had reached out to me about your unhappiness, I would have done whatever possible to rectify the situation.

beautiful rustic getaway

very private rustic cabin. bordered be Antietam creek (creek access not so easy though). great acoustics! used to look forward to visiting Dan's Tavern in Boonsboro, which is nearby, but it was closed down by some bigots.

Wish we'd stayed longer

We were visiting with family in Boonsboro and arrived late in the evening and left by 9am, but everything was there that we would have needed for a longer stay, which we have planned for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was very well equipped, the space was inviting, the beds were comfy and the view out the back was great, Looking forward to our return!

We were extremely happy with our stay. The perfect get away! And the fact that everything is supplied for you--all you have to do is bring your clothes! We were amazed at the size of the cabin. Very roomy.

4th of July Blast

This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. We look forward to our next annual trip!
