Family-Friendly Beach Home

Sandy Flat, a beach home on Pawleys Island, South Carolina, is a great place to stay for a relaxing vacation. From the first week of January to the third week of the August, Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals only.

Sandy Flat sleeps 8 people with one bedroom (queen bed) downstairs, 2 bedrooms upstairs (queen bed in one and double and twin in the other). Children love the upstairs loft with its twin and trundle beds. Baths with shower and tub on each floor. Outside enclosed shower has hot water. Deck has beautiful clear view of Pawleys Creek. The ocean can be seen and heard from the upstairs bedrooms. Wifi and 3 television sets are included.

We do not furnish sheets and towels, normally. Rentals on Pawleys Island usually have an additional fee for sheets and many people prefer to bring their own sheets and towels. Talk with me about this I as can furnish them for an additional fee of $50.

Parking is available for a maximum of three cars. (Please stay on the paved drive.)

THE PET FEE OF $100 IS FOR ONE DOG. EACH ADDITIONAL DOG IS $50. Since I can’t get the VRBO software to compute this (even with the help of their technicians), if you bring more than one dog, we will need to address the payment separately. I do not accept cats.

I prefer to speak with you before before you book! However, as a safety measure, VRBO blocks our email and telephone numbers until payment had been made. After we speak, if either of us decides that Sandy Flat is not a “good fit,” you will get a full refund.

We always love our stay. The host is easy to get a hold of if we need anything. The home is clean and is an easy walk to the beach.

This house was perfect! It was across the street from the marsh with gorgeous views and a block from the beach---My husband has already requested me to rent it again next year!

A nice, classic beach house. We loved being on the marsh and a short walk to the beach. Close to causeway for shopping and bike trail. And, we our pup got to join us!

Pawleys Perfect Rustic Perfection

Perfect location, rustic but charming, great beach access, and has everything you need in the house for a good beach week. Close to Brookgreen Gardens and also fantastic seafood restaurants. Would stay here again for sure!!

Pawley's Island Nostalgia!

We love how comfortable and family friendly this hime is. It has geat access to the beach and the upper end of the island has plenty of beach at high tide! It is a reminder of the quieter days of Pawley's!

This was our first trip to Pawleys Island. We had a wonderful stay at Sandy Flats. The house is older but very clean and comfortable. It is an easy walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the convenience of nearby grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Thanks so much Nancy for a great stay. We hope to return.

We loved our week at the Sandy Flat, nice house, clean and well stocked with beautiful artwork. A quick walk to the beach. You can hear the ocean from the house and there is an amazing creek view from the living room glassdoors with gorgeous sunsets! Plus we could bring our dogs

Vintage cottage nestled in the heart of the community. Beautiful marsh view and easy 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Owner is very communicative and helpful!

GREAT STAY

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was quite comfortable and really close to the beach. Would definitely stay there again. There is plenty of room for 6 or more. We were only two and our dog and it was a great place to stay.

Quick but lovely stay!

We spent a few nights here for our babymoon and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location was perfect and Nancy made sure we had everything we needed and was amazing with communication! Highly recommend

Even though Dorian gave us a big scare, we cleaned up the outside as quickly as possible. Glad you could come the day after the hurricane passed. Hope you will come back again.

My husband and I had 2 children. After his untimely death at the age of 42, I became a New York Life agent retiring in 2000.
At 54 I started taking cello lessons and currently play in 2 orchestras. I am a “member with excellence” and former president of the South Carolina Watermedia Society.
I am currently married to Terry Agner, a retired Lutheran pastor. We are the grandparents of 7 grandchildren and divide our time between Georgetown and Asheville, NC
