I used to come with my family as a child to Pawley's every summer and rent a beach front property. This place was exactly what I was hoping for: it had the same charm and beach tchotchke that I remember. The location was great and I loved having the marsh side dock, perfect for morning coffee and bird viewing.

The home was clean and pet friendly! We met the host and she was awesome and helpful! The walk to the beach is one minute! We had the best time!

Great place to stay for a quick trip. We usually book oceanfront, but this was such a close walk and had a creek pier, so for a quick trip, perfect without tne insane oceanfront price. Great location for pet friendly. Tne only reasin I didn't give 4 stars was no dishwasher and at least tne bed I used was not very cimfirtabke.. Tne other bed used , said was, guess I coukd have tried one of tne otgers, but i was all settled in that room with my dog.Loved tne decir

We enjoyed our stay. Its very convenient to the beach which is fantastic. Quiet area at night with very little traffic. Its a shabby chic cottage which we really liked. Loved the beach decor and artwork. Furniture was incredibly comfy for family time in the living area. VERY clean which is so much appreciated.

Nice get-a-way for a few days

We enjoyed ourselves! We knew the property was older, but we were going to relax and enjoy the beach! It was just perfect for us!

Lovely beach cottage

Cute cottage in a great location! The pier out to the marsh was our favorite. Great for fishing and crabbing.

Cute beach house, with marsh views. Dogs and family loved it, especially the screened in rocking chair front porch! Perfect for morning coffee, lunch in between beach time, and late night hangout. We only turned the tv on once during our trip just to forget abouts it.

Clean house and had everything we needed. Older but very nice and served our needs. Had no ocean view but beach was just 1/4 mile away. We would definitely rent it again in the future. Great owner and communication. Has its own private dock.

Old style Pawley’s

Great location, porch & dock. We love Pawley’s & always enjoy our family vacation at the beach. First time in this house - rustic but comfortable.

Charming cottage

We enjoyed our stay, lots of laughs and fun sitting around the table and on the porch. Owner was very responsive when the porch lights needing replacing.

Fun at the beach

The property is in need of some further repair, but they have definitely made an effort to upgrade some things. The refrigerator appeared to be new and the kitchen was well equipped & clean. The house is “old beach rustic” but worked well for our family group, We loved being able to have our dogs with us!

Best stay ever

We love this property and it never fails to give us the rest and relaxation we need. If you get tired of the beach you can play at the marsh. Lots of fun! Private because of the marsh behind and the park next door. Close enough to get to groceries and to go out to eat but so perfect for family time

Vacation

Clean, very well supplied, didn’t have to buy coffee etc. location as described in the ad was accurate. Small yard but ok. Tv was a challenge to get to work. Would recommend if looking for an older home.

Labradors love

Everything went well, except the first night someone entered the property walked through the home to the back door and turned around and left. My wife was on the back porch with the dogs. We really enjoyed the place, and the location was perfect. Would recommend this place to family and friend's.

Great location in a vintage Pawleys Island beach cottage. Pros: The host/owner is very helpful, responsive and friendly. Location was fantastic- 5 minute walk to the beach, house has all the beach equipment you need, comfortable queen bed and clean. The screened in beach side porch was our favorite spot! It was a good value for the money spent. Cons: There are some deferred maintenance issues that need to be addressed (bathroom subfloor near shower, outside lights at stairs not working, interior paint, etc.). However, we were satisfied with our stay and felt the money spent was a fair value.
