Enjoy your vacation away from home on the sand in luxury. Impeccably decorated and well maintained. On the top level a master bedroom with sitting area and (2) bathrooms and an office work area. The mid-level has a gourmet kitchen-dining and living room with beach and ocean views. The intermediate levels have (2) bedrooms, (2) baths and there is a second Master suite. The first level features an indoor hot tub, kitchenette, serving island and sitting area.

Great home great location

We had a very nice family vacation here. Right on the sand. Plenty of room for adults and kids to enjoy themselves. Restaurants walking distance. Probably the most well stocked house we have rented. The hosts were great. We would rent this place again.

Beachfront luxury

For our group, this fantastic place could not have worked better! Beautifully, but comfortably furnished throughout with a very well-stocked kitchen that made snack and meal prep fun and easy. Even used the rooftop grill to cook up some delicious baby backs. The beach out the back door was sparsely populated and truly magnificent. The sunsets viewed from the deck were spectacular! Access to the nearby beach towns (Huntington and Seal Beach) was only minutes, making it easy to visit dining and shopping spots. A wonderful week was enjoyed by us all! The location on a sparsely populated beach is really astounding. Lifeguards watching either end, groomers out each morning…sure

Sunset Beach Paradise

Jack and Leslie were amazing hosts and left no detail undone for their guests. The home is as beautiful as the listing with many extra amenities and thoughtful supplies for anything you might need during your stay. The owners are incredibly responsive and communicated well before, during, and after our stay. The beach location is perfect. With 4 bedrooms including 2 masters, our two sets of family/friends with young adult children were able to vacation in complete comfort. There was something to do for everyone - beautiful sunset viewing sitting areas, 2 kitchens, a spa, bicycles, fire pit, quiet family oriented beach, nearby restaurants, a rooftop barbecue grill and more. The large kitchen dining table was perfect for all guests to enjoy meals together and a great place for family game night & puzzling. My family has been renting beachfront homes on Sunset beach for almost 20 years. This was by far our best experience and we hope to return to this beach home to make many more memories in the years to come.

Awesome stay

Home is right on beach and convenient location to shops, groceries, and restaurants. Several restaurants are within a short walk. Beach wasn’t ever too crowded and was perfect for my family. Definitely would stay here again!!!

Absolutely ideal home away from home on the beach.

Thank you to Jack and Leslie for opening up their beautiful family home to my family for our annual family vacation with grandparents and cousins. You can tell this was their primary home as they had all the amenities of a home for a family and took care of the home well. We appreciate Shannon, their daughter and property manager to meet us and provide us warm welcome to their home. My family of five and my sisters family of 4 aloing with my parejnts enjoyed a restful and memorable time in Jack and Leslies beautiful beachfront home in the quiet and quaint sunset beach. The location was right across from the PCH where you can find the nice Peters Landing with Mothers Organic Grocery store long with shops and brewery and liquor store even closer for the last minute wino runs. We will definitely be back. We Appreciate the family welcoming our family into t heir home for the week. xo...Rachel & David

One of the best!

Online reviews are usually a giant waste of time. Everyone has different levels of expectations, and while many VRBO properties tend to lack the level of preventative maintenance one would expect from a hotel, they are in beautiful locations, so who wants to waste time complaining online? Issues should be raised and resolved during your stay, not harbored for some online form of self-expression. Therefore, I write only for exceptional stays. This property was one of the very best VRBO experiences we’ve had for our annual Spring Break family get together (6 adults, 3 children). The location is tucked away in an isolated part of the Long Beach – Huntington Beach complex. The beach is outstanding, yet extremely quiet and clean in comparison with beaches to the north or south. Perfect at under 30-minutes to Disneyland. We found a very walkable neighborhood and beach with friendly neighbors all around. The property is unique in its architecture and fits perfectly with the beach vibe. The kitchen is well appointed with quality throughout. It was easy to keep the house clean and keep the beach sand contained. Plenty of beach towels and other accoutrements to keep everyone busy. We found the top floor suite outstanding as our own enclave within our group, plus his and hers ensuite baths, for even more peace within the family! Most important of any VRBO stay, the hosts were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Their approach to renting their personal gem of a home took our stay to the next level of enjoyment. Thank you.

Peaceful Beach House

What a great place to stay. The stay was made even better because we got to meet the owners Jack and Leslie who made a personal connection with our family. The moment you walked into the house there was not much holding back the peace and relaxation we wanted. Jack and Leslie take special care of their guest and it shows once you meet them and tour the house. The house was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting. Not a single thing and amenity was missing... it was like we brought home with us on vacation. Don't miss out on this house and especially these two great people. We went away for vacation and left meeting two great people who we will see again for more of our Southern California beach vacations.

Comfort and luxury combined for creating family memories!

Our family had an incredible week staying at this beautiful home on the beach. The owners have included every tiny detail you need to have an amazing time. We had a baby traveling with us and they even included a crib and highchair which alleviated stress for us. If you are looking for beautiful and comfortable surroundings just steps from the beach, book this home!

Perfect oceanfront experience

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our group of 7. The views were beautiful. We saw Dolphins every day and the sunsets were lovely. We enjoyed riding bikes, corn hole and the extremely well equipped kitchen. Beautifully furnished.

Beautiful home

Gorgeous home with great views. Right on sand. Loved fire pit and jacuzzi. Well stocked. Convenient to bike path. Everything worked great. Lots of cooking tools. Close to takeout and good restaurants also. Our family loved it.

Luxury Vacay at the beach

Beautiful setting, exquisitely decorated, carefully cleaned & prepared home. Easy check in and out with Shannon. Comfortable beds, linens & towels plus plenty of amenities for showering. There ARE a lot of stairs to get from the street to the master suite, but so worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the third VRBO on Sunset Beach for us and we LOVE the location. We highly recommend this home for the fit family!

The Best Beach House Ever.

The house was in impeccable condition. The owner’s went to great lengths to ensure that the accommodations were like a luxury resort. Perfect Home for Making Family Memories

Beautiful home right on the sand. The home's organization and cleanliness was spot on with all the amenities a family needs. Plenty of blankets and robes. The location and ocean views are the best in town. Plenty of parking.

Stunning View and Gorgeous Home

After a hectic year, my family and I were looking for a safe, clean, and easily accessible home to enjoy a much needed vacation. This home is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. The owners were extremely communicative and explained the house thoroughly. The home itself is immaculate and has everything you will need. We loved this home so much that we hope to return each year for our family vacation.

Beautiful family home!

We enjoyed our recent stay at this beautiful three story home for peaceful getaway. We were greeted by Shannon who offered a detail tour of the home and the amenities upon arrival. The home was clean and well stocked with all the amenities needed for a family vacation. There is a beautiful crib next to a queen bed in one of the bedrooms for a new family. I was impressed with the high quality of the beds and linens. An ample supply of the most high quality soft towels are available in all the bathrooms. The views from all three levels are amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed including seasonings required for preparing full family meals. There is a Von’s Pavillon and Trader Joe’s nearby for grocery shopping. The photos are exactly as seen upon arrival. All you need is to pack your clothes and enjoy your vacation. Many thanks to Jack and Leslie for the kind welcome gift, and allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home. We look forward to returning!

Perfect social distancing!

Our family experienced a fun filled and relaxing week at the beach. We created memories for a lifetime. Even though COVID-19 continues to be a significant factor in all our lives. Our private Sunset Beach getaway gave our family and opportunity for some normalcy during these unprecedented times. The home is beautiful with every accommodation of a luxury hotel from the Bedrooms to the kitchen and even the beach accessory. No need to bring anything other than clothes, great attitude and be prepared to relax! I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you. JP

Perfect Vacation Home for a Family Vacation

We read all the reviews before leaving especially in terms of bathroom, bedrooms and privacy. The office/bedroom was an area that several other reviews expressed concerns. This home is better described as a double split home where the three floor inside are not clearly three distinct levels. As a family of 6, one of the 16 yr. old twins, was assigned to the bedroom on the lowest level. After constant complaining, we knew we had to adjust the temperatures using the provided units as well as converting the sofa into a double bed. He had the most privacy of all and refused to switch rooms with his twin brother. The owners provided plenty of storage space for our belongings, more than enough toiletries, cleaning supplies, various types of towels, indoor games and outdoor items such as boogie boards, fire pit, chairs etc. Having immediate access to the ocean with parking was one of the best features. nd multi level balconies. We had a family member get injured while at the Rose Bowl Parade. While trying to design a plan that would enable our family to remain a family vacation, Jack and his family went above and beyond our expectations to help resolve all concerns we had after the ER. Their knowledge of local businesses and resources together with accommodating our limitations helped to get our family time back on track . Since most believe there is always room for improvement, my only improvement would to provide extra power strips especially when dealing with 2 young adult daughters with numerous hair styling devices. I suspect that if I called to ask, there were several available at the house already. For those who struggle climbing up and down stairs, this house had numerous staircases ; however, they were split into smaller sections where a person could find a place or room to rest. Ads a 55 yr old overweight female, I was able to climb all stairs to the top floor even when using crutches. This house truly became the dream home away from home

Beautiful, Clean, Right on the Beach!

Our group of 10 stayed here for a company retreat. Pros: This is a beautiful home with lots of amenities inc. bathrooms & kitchen stocked with necessities, nice linens, extra blankets, even bathrobes. The location can’t be beat with gorgeous ocean views, nearby restaurants and grocery stores, plenty of parking. The check-in process was easy (owner’s daughter met us upon arrival) and communication was very good. Cons: the layout of the home is a bit odd. There is a tiny bedroom(?) on the first floor which looks like a converted office. You enter through a sliding glass door and then pull down roller shades for (minimal) privacy. The bed is a trundle pull out. Once you pull it out there’s no room for anything but sleeping. The couple who stayed in the room found it cold and damp and had a hard time sleeping. As this home is advertised as a five bedroom, and 4 of the 5 bedrooms are immaculate, it is disappointing that one bedroom was so inferior. It came down to who do we put in here? It’s not fair to them. The other big problem is two of the four bathrooms are at the very top of the home in the master suite. This essentially leaves two bathrooms for the other four couples (unless you’re not concerned with privacy) and one doesn’t have a shower, just a hand held nozzle in a bathtub. The master suite is gorgeous, but there is no way to close it off from the two stairways that access it, and you can hear EVERYTHING that’s going on in the house. Overall I’d recommend this house for families and not couples or co-workers, and would say it’s a 4 bedroom, not a true 5.

Too Many Superlatives to list

Really terrific home. This was a Thanksgiving Week with our family of 10. The location is amazing and yes the Sunset on Sunset Beach at this home are spectacular. Clean, spacious, with every amenity you may need. Enough space to have alone time but perfect for family meals and game time by the cozy fireplaces. We really enjoyed being able to connect with Shannon when we needed anything. She responded immediately. 10 mins Left on the PCH is Seal Beach / Long Beach and 10 mins Right on the PCH is Huntington Beach. Perfect location. We will definitely find our way back. Thanks Jack & Leslie for allowing us to enjoy your home.
