Cozy Cottage in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains

Enjoy the tranquility of this cottage, a beautifully maintained 1920s cottage nestled into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Transylvania County and just minutes from Brevard, NC.

Just half an hour from Ashville, 2 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Columbia, SC and 4 hours from Charleston, SC; it’s a perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come relax and rejuvenate in the clean air of the mountains and enjoy all that this home has to offer.

The cottage is a charmingly restored cottage with two bedrooms with two queen beds which share a full bath with tub and shower. Beautiful original hardwood floors are found throughout and a large eat in kitchen with seating for 6. A fully equipped kitchen with stove and dishwasher will also greet you. This retreat is perfect for two couples or a family looking to enjoy all that Brevard and its surrounding areas has to offer.

Take your pick on where to kick your feet up. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace in the living room with a glass of wine or relax on the porch swing with your coffee on the expansive front porch. Behind the cottage you’ll find a great deck for outdoor entertaining and dining and great patio space with a campfire pit, perfect for s’mores. A great screened in porch is ideal to store mountain bikes, fishing gear and any of your other outdoor equipment.

Comfortable and convenient location for a weekend of cruising the blue ridge parkway on motorcycles. The home provided plenty of amenities and peace in the mountains while centrally located to the quaint downtown area as well as local grocery stores.

We really enjoyed our two night stay in this peaceful, charming cabin. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and proximity to town. Planning to stay here again when we return to Brevard for another Staycation.

Check in was a breeze and cabin was ready on time. The cabin was neat and clean. We enjoyed the quiet area. Easy drive to downtown (less than 10 minutes).

Quaint cottage with easy access to town. We were there for an ultra race & the venue was not far away. Enjoyed first time in Brevard & spotting a white squirrel.

Cozy and sweet mountain cottage!

Wonderful place! Beds are so comfortable, the front porch is so relaxing, and the neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet! We will definitely be back!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Located in a quiet little area, but close to town. This was our second stay at this house and would definitely stay again.

Cozy and comfortable

This was a great property! Easy to find and so incredibly close to all the sights you would want to explore in Brevard. We truly enjoyed our time at this property! Highly recommend for your next visit to white squirrel country.

Great little spot in the forest

We stayed here when dropping kids at camp. Really close to downtown Brevard, the air conditioning and ceiling fans were much-appreciated. Cute spot!

Wonderful Vacay in Brevard

We love the big front porch and the quiet woodland setting of this cozy cottage. It’s a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees so we enjoyed hearing the birds both in the morning and at dusk. The beds are super comfortable and the Brevard and the Pisgah are just a few minutes away.

Sister getaway

Loved the cottage. So quaint Reminded of visiting family when I was a a kid Very guiet. Property owner was awesome. Loved everything he has done with the cottage. Hope to return.

Quiet Getaway

Brennan's cabin is cozy and quiet. Close to downtown but nestled in a quiet hillside neighborhood. We enjoyed restaurants and strolling downtown, as well as hiking and exploring in Dupont Forest

Our favorite place to stay

My husband and I have stayed here twice for our wedding anniversaries and we love it! We want to come back every year. The cabin is very easy to get to and close to downtown. It has everything you’d need and it is very clean. We love sitting on the front porch in the morning!

Private. Charm. Location. Thought of everything.

Great place real close to downtown Brevard. So many positives about this place. One above and beyond was cabin details say “basic cable tv” The TV had more channels than I have ever seen but still watched provided Netflix. Everything is included in the cabin. Love the decor as well.

It's the perfect cottage for a home base when exploring. I have done many renovations to the cottage since purchasing it and hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!

I love the front porch swing and back deck, the original hardwood floors and fireplace are also just as wonderful (built in 1928). Simple and understated. Gas grill is great for BBQs in the spring and summer. Amazing locale - steps away from any outdoor adventure you wish to partake in.
