Nice oceanside home, Clean, convenient location, great beach access, quiet non-commercial area, and close access to good restaurants. Very nice getaway and location. The home is older with tight spaces, but everything you need. If the draw is the beach, it really doesn't matter.

Cottage was perfect - have stayed there many times. We appreciated being able to bring our cat this time as we had done before - with permission. Loved close walking distance to the beach!

Mini vacation

Charming cottage that offered all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the screened in back porch as well as the easy access to the beach. Being able to enjoy it all with our dog was an added bonus.

Great Location

We were in town for a dance competition; This was a really cute place. It is an amazing location, right on a large and uncrowded beach.

Great smaller-sized beachfront home for a family or two. We loved the old-fashioned charm reminding us on Holden Beach from the 1960's and 1970's. The only two changes we recommend are buying cooking trays small enough to fit in the oven and maybe a new coffee maker. Otherwise, we would definitely book again.

September Vacation

We loved the fact we were right on the beach with a private walk way. Also we love the affordability of the home. Lastly we like that Harleys Better Half is close to restaurants and the grocery store.

Cozy and perfectly located

The cabin is not new but had everything we needed. The access to the beach and the porch were all we needed for a restful and splendid stay by the ocean.

Wonderful Weekend

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a dog friendly, ocean front place. This was perfect for us! It was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

October beach trip.

Loved the porches for the dog.. Awesome location, we enjoyed being steps away from the beach. Beds very comfy, kitchen well stocked. We will return.

Holden Beach Cottage

The pictures in the listing are very accurate. Cute, quaint cottage with amazing beach access. We took our dogs in the off season and they absolutely loved it. Great location for visiting the beauty and pristine that Holden Beach offers.

Dog’s First Vacation

This was our dog’s first ever vacation and could not have picked a better place! The screened in porch and deck were perfect for dog sunbathing. The house was very inviting and clean. This will now be our spot for our yearly family vacation!

Perfect beach getaway!

Left a similar review on Vacasa, but in short this is a perfect location for a beach vacation! The view from the screened in porch is amazing and you can spend your days on the porch watching the ocean and then go out to the water at your leisure. The home is also located very close to shops, fish markets, and the other things to see in Holden Beach. Definitely recommend this location for your next vacation!

True beach house.

Harley’s Better Half is not ostentatious in any respect. It is comfortable, clean and close the everything especially the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to another week.
