Bem-vindo and welcome to Pérola Azul — Portuguese for “Blue Pearl.” With its beautiful ocean-hued exterior, inviting amenities, and ideal ocean-view location, it's easy to see how this home earned its name!

Located just one block from public beach access, this coastal retreat puts you close to the sand, surf, and everything Surf City has to offer. The nearby beach access also serves as a designated release site for the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, giving guests the chance to experience one of Topsail Island's most memorable and beloved local traditions during sea turtle release events.

The home is also located right beside the Nelva R. Albury Recreation Park, making it a great spot for families with young children to enjoy the playgrounds, basketball courts, and open green space nearby.

Along with ocean views from the front deck, you'll also enjoy a breezy outdoor area beneath the home complete with patio seating and an outdoor shower — perfect for relaxing after a fun-filled beach day. A Level 2 electric vehicle charging station is also equipped for added convenience!

Inside, the sunny interior features inviting coastal-chic décor and comfortable gathering spaces throughout. A full suite of stainless steel kitchen appliances is ready to handle family-style meals with ease, while the updated living area with new sofas and a Smart TV offers the perfect place to unwind after a day spent exploring the beach, local shops, and restaurants.

Great Location!

Walking distance to Kure Pier and beach access. Joe Eakes park is also walkable with plenty to do. Loved the small town of Kure and will definitely be booking this property again in the future. Perfect for a small family vacation get away.

Cozy cottage weekend

This property was perfect for a group of 4 for a quick weekend trip! Location is perfect to the pier, public beach access, restaurants and convenience store. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. The bathroom is a tight squeeze but was doable for a couple nights. Would stay here again!

Perfect location. Only downside to cottage was the bathroom.

Great Beach Bungalow

This is a great spot for your beach vacation. It’s within an easy walk to the beach, fishing pier, 4 great restaurants, a coffee shop, a little bar, and a burger shack. It feels like a classic beach bungalow with extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom is very small but usable. WiFi worked great and the porch with fenced in front yard gives you a perfect spot to relax.

Great house and location

Loved the location of the house in relation to the beach and the local restaurants. The bathroom is TIGHT to say the least, but it got the job done. I appreciated the coffee pot, WiFi provided in advance, and the designated parking space. It was only me on this trip so it would feel crowded with more people, but for being so close to the beach and attractions it was perfect.

Cute and Clean Cottage

This home was with in walking distance to the beach and plenty of food. It was very clean and easy to find. It has everything you need for a beach stay. I did recommend getting curtains as the light comes in the bedrooms as soon as the sun is up. We very much enjoyed our week stay!

I rented this property to prepare food for a retirement ceremony south of Wilmington so kitchen was critical. Spacious well appointed was a must. Be aware that this property is being updated and unfortunately the floor in kitchen was dangerously tore up . Host was quick to bring runner rugs to help as I was constantly catching my shoes/ sandals and it caused fall and several trips that nearly took me out. For the price I was surprised at the condition to be honest. Cute house but it was just me so I can’t say how the flow would be with more people. Fridge was great size thankfully! Garbage bags are not provided so be aware of that!!

Disappointing

This little house is tiny and charming. It is just a block from the beach and there is a glimpse of the ocean. However the lovely little porch is right on a very busy, noisy street-and this is off season!

Small, Nice spot

This isn’t the glamorous multilevel beach home on the beach but it is cute and quaint. I would say it’s almost like “glamping” as it’s not a massive floor plan but the location is amazing! Also no central AC. However that is fully disclosed! We didn’t have to use the car we walked everywhere. It worked for us!

Need some larger pot & pans in kitchen. A few electrical outlets loose or not working. Hall bathroom outlet didn’t work & couldn’t find GFI
