Week-long stay with 2 kids

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious floorplan, very clean. Close to elevator which helped with the kids. Right across from the playground and pool!

We liked the property. But the management company that ran the rental was TOO MUCH. Rules. Rules. Rules. Every communication. 'Hey, DONT do that'. 'Hey, you better do this'. Sorry. NO. Instead of 'Your rental is coming up in a few days, DO THIS NOW, FILL IN THIS NOW AT YOUR OFFICE NOW FOR US, DONT DO THAT WHEN YOU GET THERE'. How about 'hey, your rental at the beach is coming up. You must be so excited. We look forward to welcoming you to our beach community. By the way, when you get here, can you please remember to park here; check in is at x, etc'. Sounds like I'm whining (I am). But even in the unit, there were 'don't do this' everywhere. Great condo, but it just felt like you were always being told what to do'. WONT USE THEM AGAIN.

Our pre-arrival message—complete with the countdown excitement and the link to local recommendations—is truly meant to be a helpful guide to parking permits, check-in times, and packing lists. However, your feedback is a great reminder that tone is everything. We are going to review that messaging to make sure it reads like a warm welcome rather than a checklist of demands. To offer a little insight on the signs inside the condo, the property is located in a community with a strict HOA. They have specific regulations for rental guests, and we keep those posted purely to help our guests navigate the community smoothly and avoid any surprise penalties.
