Large windows adorn an entire wall bringing the landscape and tons of natural light into the space. Experience breathtaking mountain views directly from your bed. On our oversized back porch, grill up a tasty dish and take in the beauty of the great outdoors. 5 min to San Juan Forest, 20 min to Mesa Verde.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. The cabin is open and cozy with beautiful mountain views, and it is only a few minutes to Mancos State Park. The cats and dog on the property are very friendly - we had the black kitty come say hi a few times while sitting outside.Ali was an incredible host - friendly, quick to communicate, and accommodating. For example, it was going to be hot while we were there. Ali messaged to give me a heads up, and then sent a follow-up message letting me know they had decided to install portable AC units to help with the heat. I thought this was incredibly thoughtful and definitely helped us stay cool. Additionally, she was accommodating when our schedules changed a bit with check in/out times and worked with us to make it all smooth and easy.Finally, I loved that it felt like we were in our own space. There are two other homes on the property; however, the windows in the cabin face the forest and mountains, making it feel like you’re on your own but knowing that help is nearby if you need it.Highly recommend staying here, whether it’s for a few days or a longer term stay.

Probably was accurately described and photographed in the VRBO site. We enjoyed just hanging out on the porches. Close to Mesa Verde National Park, where we spent 3 days. The hosts were very nice.

We had a wonderful weekend staying with Alexandria! It was a beautiful location and the cabin was welcoming and unique. Very personal, even with a nice note welcoming us. My kids loved saying hello to the animals; definitely memorable for them also. Convenient for visiting Mesa Verde and we hope to return with paddleboards to explore Mancos State Park which is across from the cabin's turn.

This place is extraordinary! The town itself is split between high desert featuring sage, juniper and cottonwoods and mountains featuring ponderosa pines, scrub oak and aspens. In 20 minutes you can be high up in The Platas mountains or in the cliff dwellings in Sand Canyon or Mesa Verde.

We also want to acknowledge the land that Mancos, CO is situated upon is the ancestral land and territory of the Nuuchiu (Ute) people who were forcibly removed by the United States Government. We also acknowledge that this land is connected to the communal and ceremonial spaces of the Jicarilla Abache (Apache), Pueblos of New Mexico, Hopi Sinom (Hopi), and Diné (Navajo) Nations. It is important to acknowledge this setting because the narratives of the lands in this region have long been told from dominant perspectives, without full recognition of the original land stewards who continue to inhabit and connect with this land. Thank you for your attention and respect in acknowledging this important legacy.
