Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Staying in the Shenandoah Valley Yurt is a unique way to experience the mountains of Virginia. The yurt provides a rustic feel combined with every convenience of home. There are mountain views and abundant autumn leaves surrounding the 2+ acre property. It is a short, scenic drive to Shenandoah National Park or the Luray Caverns.

The space
The yurt has a king-size bed, full kitchen, full bathroom, and a couch that converts to a queen-size bed. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are games, a Roku television, wi-fi, and outdoor seating area with a fire pit.

Guest access
The large yard and patio with gas grill and fire pit are also available to guests.

Great host and wonderful stay!! Had an absolutely amazing time. Close to town and the National Park. Our dog loved it too. Was even great for staying in on a rainy day. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay in the yurt! It had everything necessary for a cozy and relaxing weekend. The host was responsive, and check-in was easy. The bed and pillows were so comfortable!

The host was responsive and the yurt was very clean! On the hot day we were there the AC was so nice to have. The sound machine was really helpful during the nights.

The Yurt was wonderful. It was very cozy and located near all the attractions we wanted to visit. The outdoor fire pit was not to sit by after going out to dinner and have a nice glass of wine. My husband was really impressed with my choice. The only draw back BUT DID NOT TAINT our experience was the busy road at bedtime. But we are sound sleepers so it did not bother us. We truly had a wonderful and relaxing time!

Great area to be close to Shenandoah and Luray and host was very responsive. The road that the Yurt is off of is busier than I expected so you do hear some car noise inside the yurt if noise is a concern. Host does provide ear plugs and sound machine. Yurt is very large and clean space.

Host communicated well making the entire stay easy. The yurt was decorated with unique decor and artwork and had all the amenities and more needed for our stay. Additional thoughtful items included games, books and magazines. The bed and pillows were very comfortable which made for a great night sleep. Our destination was the Luray Caverns and was less than a 15 minute drive away.

Fantastic stay! Yurt was furnished with an eclectic blend of antiques and modern furniture and super cozy accessories! Very, very clean.Host was prompt with communication! I was here to do remote work and finish up a project… all the furnishings were super comfy for having to hunker down and work from a computer for extended hours each day. Hope to come back again!

This was a fantastic stay! I was here to hunker down and finish up a remote work project via computer. This yurt has cozy, comfortable furnishings… even more than what the pictures show. This was particularly important because I needed to spend long hours on the computer and there were plenty of spaces to work! A comfortable kitchen table as well as a very cozy couch with fantastic pillows. Highly recommend. Very clean and the host was very responsive to any questions.

The Yurt itself was great. Fun space. Traveler advisory- the Yurt is situated next to a a busy road. The noise died down by 10pm but expect an early wake up (6am) when cars and trucks and motorcycles pass by. Bring an eye mask- it’s very bright once the sun comes up. We didn’t notice noise during the night . There is a sound machine and we also brought one. Ear plugs were provided! Otherwise great location - near Lurray and Shenandoah national park.

We stayed July 10-12 and it was a very wonderful and relaxing stay. Me and my Girlfriend at the time ( Now fiancée ) got engaged at the yurt and it will always be apart of our lives. The host is very responsive and is very good at communication. I definitely recommend staying a couple nights because it is very relaxing and a very unique place. The only downside is that it is next to a main road and it can get very loud at times , because the yurt is basically a tent. Other than that 10/10.

Had a really great stay here! The road is a bit noisy but the host provides ear plugs if you’re sensitive to the noise. Host is communicative and helpful and provided different brochures for things to see and do in the area.

We absolutely loved the yurt! It helped make our “kid free” anniversary weekend feel more like we were young again! We went in to Luray many times and had so much fun from the Page Theater to the Blue Shepherd Distillery to the chophouse bistro!! We hope to use the same spot every year if they’ll have us again!!
