Welcome to the Brubaker House!

Mountain and countryside views are some of best in area! Don't miss this quiet, charming home that is minutes from your vacation activities. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from Main Street, Luray or the shopping plazas located on Route 211.

Our home features:

Large living room equipped with a 50" cable TV, reading/game area.

WiFi is provided free for your use.

Eat-in kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to prepare meals while staying plus a dishwasher. Attached dining room will seat 6. A Keurig with basic coffee/hot beverage supplies is provided.

Master bedroom is located on the main level. This room has a queen bed, Smart Tv and a private bath equipped with grab bars (Not ADA compliant).

Upstairs are two bedrooms:
Bedroom 2 - queen size bed, closets, dressers & Tv.
Bedroom 3 - two twin beds, dresser and Tv.

A full size sleep sofa is available in the living room if needed. We also have a rollaway bed and Pack N Play available for your use.

There is a 2nd full bath located downstairs also equipped with grab bars (Not ADA compliant).

There is a laundry area with washer & dryer. Detergent & dryer sheets are provided.

All bedding and bath linens are provided.

For longer stays, housekeeping is available to change bed linens and do a quick cleaning of the home.

Large sunroom with breakfast table and sofa.

Gas grill is available upon request.

Covered front porch with swing and chairs.

The home was right near area attractions including river activities, the caverns and Shenandoah National Park as well as other local activities. It was also nice and clean and had great spaces for all our needs. We loved all that and quick access to stores for anything we needed. The host was wonderful and kind, and we were so happy to be able to bring our dogs with us. This was just the right home base for checking out the whole area, and we intend to stay again sometime.

My family and I loved our stay. It felt like being at home. We were close to everything we wanted to do. The home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with pots, pans, plates, cups-and COFFEE! Everything you need, just bring your own food. Would love to stay again. Thank you for helping us create some memories!

We could not have had a better location and home for our visit. As our daughter-in-law said it was like going to Grandma's home. The front porch was great, our 14 yr old,spent hours swinging and watching the cattle. It was if you were visiting an older family members home. Melissi met us on arrival, gave us the walk-through tour plus a the family history which was very interesting. She answered our questions plus. For the person that is looking for the latest and most up to date it is not your location but if you are looking for down to earth location that you can relax and let the world go by it is the location,

Beautifully maintained property with a strong sense of home and family. Conveniently located close to everything, but very quiet and secluded. Loved the big open front porch and taking in the cows grazing in the rolling pastures across the way, or watching the fireflies from the porch swing at dusk.Enjoyed watching movies in the comfy living room with family and playing games at the large table for 8 in the dining room.Clean, well appointed, and excellent communication with the host. If you're looking for a place to stay in Luray, The Brubaker House is the place to be.

Staying here was amazing! The whole house was incredibly clean and well stocked. The hosts are so sweet and so accommodating. Would definitely reccomend this stay to anyone!

Had an amazing stay. Will be rebooking someday in the near future. The ambiance of the house is exactly what you'd like if you're a city dweller like myself and family. All the amenities are perfect and very close to Luray.

There was a high-power microwave, as well as a keurig machine and plenty of pots and pans and dishes. We had a dog with us and it was no problem to have him in the house. There was also a nice backyard space where he could be tethered for a bit.

Everything good, from host to amenities. It was the arrangement of the living room that was best for us-- could talk or watch TV, or read, or work a puzzle all at the same time! Dining room held us all very nicely.

Lovely home, great for families

There were many thoughtful elements in the home and we enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere with gorgeous views from the porch. Our kids loved it and it was the perfect location to visit Shenandoah National Park. The host was excellent!

The Brubaker House is located on land that has been in the owner's family for several generations. Originally built by Eugene & Christine Brubaker, it is adjacent to the grandparent's homeplace. The home is in close proximity to the Shenandoah river, mountain hikes, Luray Caverns, and downtown activities. The owner of the property, Jean Moyer is a local artist who loves to capture the beauty of the area that she was raised in and wants to share that experience with you!
