Overall good experience. All doors need oiling. Everything worked. Light switch labels would be helpful. Landscaping needs lots of TLC and fire pit poorly located. Would have been really nice to have had plastic wrap and aluminum foil provided. However, the overall experience was very enjoyable. Host provided tons of games, books, and movies. Plenty of dishes and silverware to go around. Lots to do and see close by.

Absolutely beautiful property and house, nothing compares to being right on the lake!! I didn’t even have a boat or kayak or anything, but just being able to sit on the dock during the mornings for breakfast and to read was amazing! The house was immaculate and very comfortable, I really appreciated the spare blankets and pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with pretty much anything you need to cook meals. Tons of parking space, my family and I were able to fit 4 cars no problem. The driveway’s a bit hard to find, but it is very private and separate from the road which is nice. Thank you for an incredible stay!

This is a really nice little home on Devils lk. Very nice views. Even though alot of our stay was typical march weather. If your not looking for a modern home but a nice quaint place to watch the day go by, this would be it. It was everything we needed for the weekend.Clean and warm once we turned up the thermostat.

Beautiful place that we all loved. Amazing view/area and close to great coastal restaurants. Will be looking forward to coming back to this beautiful home/property. Cannot say enough good about the place.

Our family had a wonder stay. The home is cozy and had everything we needed.

Fun in the sun!

Great accommodation on the lake! Private dock and house full of all the amenities you could imagine. The layout of the house was spacious and it’s very comfortable. Would stay there again.

The house was clean. The Views in the home were absolutely breathtaking from every room. The location was amazing. Fishing from the dock was exactly what were went for! Kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes for cooking. And there were things in the pantry like salt, sugar and oil spray that I feel like most people tend to overlook when packing. Our stay was overall pretty great. But There was a few small down sides. As some others had mentioned there was an odor through out the house that just smelled of must, after a few hours you get used to it. The Barbecue was not only rusted but also moldy, but we have yet to find a rental near the beach with a clean bbq. Some tools for guests to clean the Bbq would be nice. Besides those things we loved the house and completely plan to return for another fishing trip.

House smelled of mold.There was a smell of dog urine around the couch.Probably could have used a quick once over to get rid of dead bugs on the floor.

Great gate away, excellent service!

We really enjoyed our time at this lake front house. The host was very responsive to our questions. The view was lovely! I would like to go again during summer.

Best lake house

I love this house with all of my heart. I wish I could live in it for the rest of my life. My husband will be coming back every March or April for our birthdays to spend here. I hope it never gets demolished. I also love how close it is to town and just the feel of the house. I can't wait to come back next year!

Great Lake house

We loved the house, the location and the swimming access, but who doesn’t provide beach towels or swimming towels at a lake house? We loved that the kitchen was well stocked for cooking too.

4th of July

Home was everything we needed for the week. Enjoyed watching the fireworks from the deck and being able to dock my waverunner at the house was a plus.

Spending time with our adult children

The home was wonderful, everything was clean and ready to go. Will want to rent this home again. A couple concerns- the toilet in the lower bathroom leaked, and it was very difficult to see traffic when leaving the property.

Amazing View

Our family loved this property. The view from the house is just amazing. The kids loved fishing from the dock and jumping off for a swim. The house, while not new or recently remodeled, was very clean and comfortable. Space wise, it was great for 4 people but would have been cramped for any party larger. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we enjoyed our time at this property.

Outside, great views of the lake. Negative was a dripping gutter that was full on the steps going to front door. Also, the front door lock code is the longest I have ever seen in my life (this should be 4 or 5 digits at most). Inside, linens were clean. Coffee pot had to be cleaned by us. The biggest negative inside is it has a musty old house smell and no door on the bedroom in the basement (a curtain). Not a big deal since we were there as a couple with no one else, otherwise, this could be a negative. They should also provide a sheet/book on things to do in the area, how to work the tv, etc. Vacasa was great with text messages.

Comfortable, but over priced

Getting information from the property manager was more difficult than it should have been. Access to the boat house would have been helpful to store lakeside toys etc..

spiders

the driveway is very narrow. hard to get out on main road. the lower half smelled damp and windows were painted shut. windows dirty and cover with spider webs and a few spider as was outside furniture. Beautiful view. Clean inside.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. We do agree the home has a musty smell as can be typical in a beach rental, and we have not found any leaks or mold that might be contributing. Window cleaning is scheduled. Due to the home being in a heavily wooded area, the spiders are quick to come back after they're addressed, but we do have a professional pest control company assisting with the situation.
