Tropical rear yard with private luxury heated Saltwater pool and hot tub/spa and spacious paved area plus large ground floor lanai.

Leave your troubles behind as you cross to Anna Maria and surrender to the island pace. Our beach house (a personal vacation home - not an investment property) is a light-filled retreat with beautiful furnishings, quality linens, spacious open plan living areas with 12' high ceilings and excellent indoor/outdoor flow. 3 large coastal bedrooms (king, queen and twin) with inbuilt storage, 2 modern bathrooms (1 en-suite) with huge separate showers plus a hall WC closet near the separate full-sized laundry room.

Plenty of room for all the family to chill around the free-form private pool & hot tub The special non-slip pool surface complements the 'beach access' that allows the young (and not so young) to enter into the water without any steps and starts at 2 inches deep! Our guests just love this private Oasis - please see our numerous 5* Reviews!

The tropical planting gives areas of both sun and shade and at night-time the palms are automatically lit to enhance the ambience of the backyard and pool area.

Upstairs, guests will love to use the granite finished, fully equipped kitchen with custom cabinets. Great-room opens onto generous lanai with outdoor dining.

By the pool you can enjoy the large entrance level patio, sun loungers and gas BBQ grill, wall mounted TV. Over-sized double garage with remote access, beach chairs, beach toys and beach cart too.

A pearl of a property within 2-3 blocks (3-4 mins walk) to the idyllic, soft, white sand of the Gulf beaches with their breathtaking sunsets, towards the north of the Island. A peaceful neighborhood only minutes walk from restaurants, bars, shops and galleries of Holmes Beach. Free Island Trolley-Bus stop is just round the corner.

Thanksgiving in paradise

Had another wonderful trip at this house! House has everything you may need making you feel right at home. Backyard is its own oasis with a short walk to the beach.

A beautiful home close to the beach with all the amenities you could want. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and had excellent communication. I couldn't imagine a better rental.

Wonderful home in the center of AMI

This home is in an excellent location in the middle of Anna Maria Island. Close enough to walk to the beach but on a very quiet street. The house was perfect to rent with two young kids as Mike and Lesley stocked the home with everything we could need. The best part of this home is the outdoor pool- an oasis of itself! I would highly recommend this property and the owners were extremely responsive and excellent to work with.

Everything I hoped for for our first time in AMI!

We traveled with grandparents, myself, my husband and our two kiddos ages 2 and 6 and it was a blissful week (well, as much as can be expected with 2 young kiddos, haha). We bounced from the amazing pool to the beach and back again. We walked to get ice cream and to a dolphin tour one night. We cooked in the amazing kitchen several nights and saved a lot that way. The house never had a feel of a rental. Mike and Leslie were so helpful with questions. Can’t wait to return!

Impeccably clean and Super kid friendly

We had a great stay at "A Pearl of a Beach Home"! We were there with our 3 kids (ages 6, 4, and 6 months), as well as my parents. The home was perfect for us. There was plenty of space for all of us and the house is very kid friendly. We especially appreciated the pack n play, high chair, beach toys, and pool toys available for use. There was even a very high quality mattress to use in the pack n play. We were also thankful for the alarms on the doors leading to the pool, ensuring our kids would never be out there without us. The pool area is beautiful and very private. Mike and Lesley were incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. The house was impeccably clean, which we also greatly appreciated with kids crawling around. We don't have one complaint about our stay and can't wait to come back!

We loved playing in the pool. Air condition worked great. Kitchen well stocked. Water pressure/showers were great. Vaulted ceilings made it feel even bigger. Our family of five would happily come back here. This Vrbo exceeded our expectations, and we would happily return.

Great vacation spot

Had issues getting inside due to a malfunctioning garage door, but got situation resolved and were able to get in with some delay. Communication with owners was only via email / vrbo app so that caused some delays. The pool is great, the hot tub is a little small. The location is great with a reasonable walk to the beach.

Excellent

This was the perfect home for our family. We felt at home the moment we walked in. Having never been to AMI we had no idea what to expect. Mike and Lesley were quick to answer all of our questions. This home is extremely clean and well maintained. The pool is amazing, the landscaping makes it feel like a private oasis and parts of the pool has shade so it was perfect for our grandchildren. We cooked most of our meals on the Blackstone by the pool and the kids could swim while dinner was prepped. The dining table by the pool was used nightly. The upstairs porch overlooking the pool was a nice spot for coffee and breakfast. We loved the fact that beach chairs and baby supplies were included. Great location. We were able to visit a different beach everyday. We rented golf cart and enjoyed exploring the island. We had a perfect vacation in this home.

Wonderful family home

The house was so clean when we arrived. It had absolutely everything we needed for our family if five. The beds were comfortable too :) We loved the pool and spent alot if time in it. Its a little bit of a walk to the beach, but doable with the wagon provided. Thank you! We loved AMI.

Amazing time

This was an amazing place and an amazing time. The location was perfect with easy walks to beach, several food locations and shopping. This was one of the cleanest, comfortable and family friendly places we have stayed. The private pool was great to relax after baking in the sun at the beach. We would love to rent this house again and have already recommended to others.

Perfect vacation home

We had this beautiful house for two weeks! We gave rented in FL for 8 years now and this was not only beautiful but checked all our boxes. The pool and hot tub were our favorite hangout . Loved the nearby beach but the water was a bit cold during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked without any problems!

Beautiful home close to everything

Despite being stuck indoors for a couple days due to Tropical storm Debbie, this house did not disappoint. It is exactly as described. I don’t know if you could ask for anything more. Mike and Lesley were wonderful hosts and very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this home. If we ever come back to the area again, we would want to stay here every time.

Pearl of a Beach Home

We loved our stay here! The check in process was super easy, the property was the perfect size for our family of 5. You can walk to the beach from the property in about 8 minutes- we found a golf cart very helpful to get to the rest of the island. The kids loved the pool and it was super clean!

Great vacation spot on AMI

We enjoyed our stay. The location is great very close to the beach and dining options. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for the week. We enjoyed enjoyed mornings and early afternoons at the beach and came back to the house to enjoy the awesome outdoor pool. I would highly recommend this rental check in and out were both a breeze!

Vacation June 2024

Beautiful clean home- one of cleanest we have stayed at. We loved outdoor pool area. We enjoyed having access to wagon to transport supplies. Anna Maria Island wonderful. We did struggle operating TV (never figured it out but we arent real tech savvy). Would like to see some Tupperware in kitchen for leftovers. Would recommend guests renting golf cart- that made getting around a lot of fun! Would also have liked to have more washclothes- Maybe atleast 2 per person staying. Overall wonderful stay.

Wonderful family vacation!!!

This was our first trip to AMI and this house did not disappoint! We had some pool/ spa issues upon arrival but the property owners were quick to get someone out asap. The house had everything that we needed. We hope to visit again.

Just what the doctor ordered

We had a wonderful week at A Pearl of a Beach Home. The house was perfect for our family of 5. More than enough room, the pool and hot tub was where we spent most of the time. The beach was an easy walk right up the street. The most beautiful sunsets, and some of the best beaches we have ever seen. There were plenty of great restaurants close by (well everything is really close on the island). We spoke to several neighbors and locals and everyone was super friendly. Every question we had was answered almost immediately and we were extremely happy staying here and will certainly be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!!

We enjoyed our first vacation on Anna Maria Island in April 2013 and just fell in love with ........everything! We returned that summer for another vacation and decided to celebrate our upcoming 30th Wedding Anniversary (our Pearl anniversary!) by buying a vacation home on AMI.

For the final week of our summer stay we toured the island together on a tandem cycle, getting to know every street and visiting Open House events. On returning home we took to Zillow and found "our Pearl" on-line and decided to buy it - sight unseen.

By the end of October 2013, we were the proud owners of a vacation home on AMI. As we entered for the very first time, we knew we'd made a great choice and the name was clear to us both " A Pearl of a Beach Home" (in Holmes Beach!).

Our wonderful Realtor, Marianne (Island Real Estate) looked the place over for us and told us "the camera doesn't lie! Great internal layout, spacious outside spaces, high ceilings, quiet neighborhood, central on the island and close to the beach."

What's not to love?

The location is great and the lack of a pool back in 2013 was actually a real bonus. It allowed us to design our own, include a spa and beach access and add a special non-slip surface. We added mature planting and lighting in the backyard which gives privacy and a sense of tranquility.

A short, flat and safe walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the nearest stop for the free island Trolley service make getting round the island real easy.
