The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing.

We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average.

Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you.

In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options.

Step out onto the balcony or simply open a door and let the soothing sounds of the ocean breeze and waves gently crashing ashore be your personal soundtrack to pure relaxation. It is a simple walk or elevator ride downstairs to dig your toes into the Folly Beach sand or to take a dip in the beach side pool. The oceanfront pools at the Villas are open seasonally each year from April 1- October 31!
