Step into this professionally decorated home and be greeted by an abundance of natural light pouring in from the wall of windows in the great room. Rental company was very pleasant and good with communication. Patrick and Kelly are the best hosts. Our hot water heater went out during our stay. I messaged them and Coastal Joe to let them know. I told them to wait to till Monday for service; no need to pay an emergency service call. They absolutely insisted the problem be taken care of immediately. They are very receptive and open to any requests! We had a wonderful winter staying in Hello Sunshine!

Awesome Large Family Vacation

The house was just like the photos, it’s perfect for a large family and the master suite is amazing. We loved the ocean views from the porches , the one min walk to the beach and being right next to the community pool. We can’t wait to be back next year!!!

Great stay. Property management was very good. House worked very well for 13 people. A few needs- fridge icemaker slow, main outdoor stairway was slick when wet. Great proximity to pool. House overall clean and pleasant.

Great Stay!

Loved the property. Great location, convenient to beach, pool, state park, Trading Post and bike trail. We stayed at the home 5 years ago and this time we brought friends. The kitchen was well equipped as we ate in, every evening. Only improvement we could see would be some sun shades for the kitchen/dining room. The late evening sun at dinner around the table was blinding. Would not prevent us from staying again, though.

The new owners of "Hello Sunshine" have put a lot of thought into the renovations that have done. They plan to do more this off season, so stay tuned for pictures!

Our best experience

This was the best experience we have had in more than ten years. Clean, spacious. Great view. We called about a few issues (leftover from previous rentals) and they took care of them promptly. This is a great alternative to the crowds in the destin area. Rules seemed strict at first because they are trying to protect their investment. No problems with any interaction.

Great Time at Hello Sunshine

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another great year at the Cape. This was our first stay at Hello Sunshine. It had a huge greatroom that was perfect for our group. The Kitchen was also big with plenty of plates, cups, silverware and honestly everything you need to cook. As a note for future guests there was not a single spice to cook with so make sure you bring what you need in that department. The beds were all very comfortable and all of the rooms had great storage options for clothes. The master was huge with a sitting area and huge closet with a crib and futon. We especially loved the outdoor storage room that held tons of beach toys, wagons, chairs and floats along with towel hooks and an outdoor shower. A few cons - at least for our group, was the fact that there is no covered parking and really only room for two cars. There is no entrance to the main house available to renters from the ground floor. It was pouring rain when we arrived and we had to unload our car and go around the house and up a flight of uncovered stairs to get in so we were soaked while unloading. There is a great suite on the ground floor but renters don't have access to the main house from the inside of the suite. You have to go outside to get to the main house. The stairs are there - just blocked off for renters. That was something we didn't realize when booking and would not have chosen the house if we had known. It was inconvenient for our needs. Still a lovely house and we had a great time and Coastal Joe Rentals was great to deal with as always.

Amazing, relaxing vacation

Britney helped me and answered all of my questions promptly. The house was beautiful and very well located to the community pool (we were the only ones that used it during our stay I believe). The beach was just a short walk as well. We had plenty of room and all we needed at the house. Will definitely stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay but there were small roaches In the kitchen cabinets and in the dishwasher. We did notify you upon checkout so hopefully that has been taken care of! Other than that we had a great time. The bathroom on the main floor is very small considering it is being shared with the bunk room and another bedroom.

A Lot Of Frogs

For as many members of my family that went, it accommodated us well. However, we were unable to use one of the beds because of what looked like a brown stain on one of the mattresses (we were very cautious about that one). There were also quite a few frogs at night time attached to the house, so that was unexpected. Just be wary that there will be a lot of frogs greeting you once the sun starts to set. Overall, we love the location (Cape San Blas), but we will probably not be staying at this property in the future.

Best Vacay Ever

From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the location and well upkeep of the house. It was clean and newly remodeled. Our family felt very comfortable , including our golden doodle. The beach was a short walking distance and my kids loved being close to the community pool! We also loved that when we booked the home we got a 250$ credit towards beach gear, which was there when we arrived. The property management team was very kind and always helpful when we called with questions. We will def be back and rent again with Coastal Joe’s. We fell in love with the beauty of CSB and we are looking forward to our next trip!

The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed to prepare large family meals. There were more items than expected for our use in the garage - kayak, corn hole, cooler, beach cart, boogie boards all enhanced our stay. The layout with the separate living unit worked perfectly for our group. Highly recommend this property. Our girls loved being next to the community pool and had the pool area to themselves for laying out, listening to music and playing volleyball in the pool. Love the beach just a short walk down the boardwalk right next to the house. We'll be back, but maybe beach front next time.

Wonderful "Hurrication"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here in Mid September and caught the edge of Hurricane Sally. That said, we had two really great beach days on the front end and back end. This was a unique experience and was still a great vacation! The beach is absolutely amazing and this whole area is quite unpolulated. No hotels. No condos. Just houses. Absolutely no traffic and wide open beaches. The house was really nice and when we had some issues from leaks from the hurricane, they were fixed immediately. Coastal Joe's was VERY responsive. Would recommend some maintenance work and better cable and wifi. It did do out more than expected. Will definitely come back!

A strap brike on one of the kayak carrying straps andthey quickly came and traded it out...even retrieved the old one from the beach—-those guys are strong! Pottery Barn needed a little TLC but Coastal Joe and the owners were very attentive to any items I broughtt to their attention. Hurricane Michael has probably created more woes. My heart goes out to the Cape and her loss of roads and othe amenities. Also the newly formed islands in the state park will be an interesting challenge for all to overcome. We love this beautiful place and enjoyed our stay.

2/10 Terrible

Great location but the house needs a lot of things fixed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at this property. Issues from last year were still issues this year. The bathroom on the main floor has a hard time flushing. Paint falling off. Had a hard time opening and locking doors the entire time. The bed in the Master is very bad and not comfortable at all. Dryer takes three times to dry a load of laundry. The rental company was great but the owners of the home don't spend any money on the home or repairs.

February Beach Vacation 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it’s a lovely home. Our destinated house was no longer available due to water damage so we found this literally two days before we arrived! The top master suite bed sheets had not been changed, attention to cleanliness was missing. Living room furniture needs to be replaced as it is dirty & the main couch is almost impossible to sit on comfortably. The kitchen is amazing but the dining room chairs are horrible... not comfortable and every move you make “sounds” horrible!Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The views of the sunset amazing; the porches excellent! Beach nessesities plentiful! Distance to beach perfect; neighborhood lovely! Appliances very nice. Main bathroom lighting is dark. We had to buy better bulbs. Bunkbed sheets a nightmare to change!
