Welcome to Forest Glen - your peaceful, dog-friendly mountain retreat near Luray. This cozy 3BR/2BA cabin sleeps up to 6 and is just minutes from river access, Shenandoah hikes, and outdoor adventures.

Relax on the spacious front deck, fire up the grill, play cornhole, or unwind by the fire pit under the stars with s’mores. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable, well-stocked space perfect for families and small groups.

Whether you’re here to explore the Shenandoah or simply relax and recharge, Forest Glen is the perfect home base.

Dog friendly so your furry travel companion (2 max) are welcome to join the adventure ($60 pet fee per dog - no nightly charges).

Forest Glen, although not secluded, is located in a quiet neighborhood with other homes and cabins, making it ideal for guests seeking a peaceful getaway.


Things to Note: 

The charming town of Luray and the famous Luray Caverns are 20 mins away. 

Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park (off Hwy 211) is a scenic 25–30 minute drive from the cabin. 

Shenandoah River Outfitters is a walkable distance away (or a 1 minute drive)

Camp fire wood available for purchase ($10 per bundle).

No EV charging is available on-site, and use of indoor or outdoor electrical outlets is not permitted. If you need to charge your vehicle, convenient charging stations can be found in the nearby town of Luray.

Property photos were correct. Communication with the owner was excellent and helpful during our stay. Bedrooms were plenty spacious and deck area provided a nice option for meals. Loved being so close to the river outfitters. It is a quiet area, full of trees, but not isolated (which was good for us) Thank you for a great weekend with our kids!

This was a great mountain retreat with close access to the caverns, Shenandoah National Park and a day trip to DC. Would definitely stay again!

Family Mini trip

We enjoyed this location because it was central to everything we wanted to do. In the evenings we were able to sit down and relax and talk to each other.

Very cozy and quiet! Everything I needed was there!

I was really happy with my stay here! The house was neat and tidy, very nice bed linens and towels were provided which was a really nice touch!

Quiet and peaceful

The property was quiet and secluded but close enough to Luray and the beautiful Shenandoah River. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful stay near Luray

David and Becky were great hosts! The house offered everything we needed and was close by to the national park and all of the caverns.

We enjoy time with family, love being grandparents and although we enjoy traveling, living in Luray and near the beautiful Shenandoah River makes every day feel like a vacation!
