We have stayed in the LaPlaya condos in other units for past vacations, so we are used to the area in general and we LOVE it. PROS: This location is in a quieter part of the Boardwalk, yet there is plenty to see from your condo and the pool. It's a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants right out the front and down the boardwalk. The balcony is shared and there is a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room window. Great beach and people watching on the boardwalk from the balcony and pool. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The host was responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen was well stocked for actual cooking or reheating of food. You don't really need a car if you're staying on this boardwalk. The chicken Calzone is amazing (get extra marinara sauce) from the little Italian place super close called Florio's of Little Italy. We order, then enjoy beachside. One is enough for two people. CONS: Nothing that would change my mind about renting this condo… Limited kitchen storage for food items purchased, but we repurposed the desk right beside the kitchen, so it’s totally workable. The bathrooms could use updating, but that’s just a preference, as they are fully functional. The master bath glass has fun etching :) It does take water a while to be hot in the showers, but we’ve experienced this at most, if not all of the LaPlaya condos.
