Bald Eagle Bluff - The perfect family get a way

Welcome to the Bluff! We're looking to make your family vacation one to remember. Our Two bedroom, two bath house is located on the bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Erie. The many amenities will be sure to make you feel right at home. The master bedroom with queen bed and attached master bath has plenty of room to stretch out and get a great nights sleep. The room is equipped with a 42 inch flat screen TV with dvd player, a window air conditioner is available in both bedrooms as well as the living room. The nook inside the master bedroom is complete with a comfortable couch to sit and relax and enjoy a good book and a cup of coffee while overlooking the lake and all of God's beautiful creation. The second bedroom features bunk beds, a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size on the top. This bedroom also has a 19 inch flat screen tv and dvd player. The full second bath is located just off the bedroom. Our fully equipped kitchen has all the utensils and dishes to help you prepare a great meal. The spacious living room is equipped with a 42 inch flat screen tv, dvd player and wifi is also available. Plenty of board games are on hand should you encounter children who are 'bored'. Our house is also equipped with a washer and gas dryer to add to the convenience of your stay. The outdoor features include a natural gas BBQ and campfire ring. You can also relax on our rustic log swing over looking the bluff and lake. If our calender is full, please check out our other property Eagle View Cottage, it's just 2 doors down from the Bluff.

4th of July relaxation

My family and I enjoyed Bald Eagle Bluff for the holiday weekend. Amazing views of the lake and beautiful sunsets. A great place to relax and enjoy family.

Amazing views

My family enjoyed our 4th of July on the bluff. From the views to the accomodations everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Comfortable Lake Erie retreat

The cottage was very cozy and comfortable! Loved the master bedroom with reading nook and view. Kitchen was well stocked and very functional. We enjoyed hiking at the nearby Erie’s Bluffs State Park and visiting Presque Isle State Park and the Maritime Museum in Erie. Wonderful , windy getaway!

Relaxing

This is our third time renting this property (twice in the summer and once in the winter). We always have a great time and love the layout and location of the property. We have two little boys and they love all the activities in the area: Presque Isle State Park, Erie Bluffs State Park, Waldameer, Asbury Woods, Children's Museum, train museums (one in North East and one in Conneaut), etc. The place is nice to come back to and has plenty of room for the kids to run and relax. It has all the amenities we need and it's in a great neighborhood. We will definitely rent again!

Beautiful view of Lake Erie

Had a great stay- beautiful viewing of the solar eclipse. Only downside was the gas grill didn’t work, and the neighbor next door walked over to “warn us” about making a fire in the fire pit- something about his brother ripping out the original pit and putting a wooden eagle in it… Idk- we just moved the statue out of the pit, used it, and then later put it back without incident. That whole encounter was a little strange. But besides that we had a lovely time. Additionally there’s a (real) bald eagle living in a nest on the property that we loved watching. Would definitely rent again! Thank you for opening your wonderful house to us!

Awesome location with lake view, very nice house

We had issues with (faulty) WiFi modem and Spectrum service, owner (Monica) got the issues resolved promptly, great communication. We were on a fishing trip so it was awesome to have a nice view of Lake Erie. Only complaint is the "No Shoe Policy" ... typically I drop a star for this rule but everything else was great so went with 5 stars anyway.

Little Getaway

Perfect house for a little weekend getaway. Got into the house very easily. Was clean and well stocked. Comfortable bed and furniture. The view(especially sunset) was amazing! Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Had an amazing fire one night. Convenient little stores(Dollar General) and restaurants. The master bedroom has amazing views, which means lots of windows and skylights. So if early morning sun bothers you, would recommend a good sleep mask, worked great. Hope to go back again!

Great Place, Great Weekend.

Loved the seperation from other houses and the tranquil views of the lake from the back yard. Accomodations had everything you needed and then some. I will plan a trip next year and be really sad if I can't get this place again!

Beautiful Views

We had a great stay. The house, which was convenient to both Erie and Cleveland, was very clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. But the best part had to be the views. Sitting out in the morning was a great way to star the day. The sunset was amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect for family holiday getaway

The property - "Bald Eagle Bluff" - was excellent for our family's 4th of July weekend. Clean and comfortable in a nice "neighborhood". Plenty of space. Great views of Lake Erie, though no direct access down to the water (it is on a serious Bluff!). And, yes, there are Bald Eagles! Master bed/bath suite is very comfortable. 2nd bedroom is good for kids, though it was a bit tight for our 2 adult children. All the necessary appliances/conveniences (except no dishwasher) updated and modern. (The on-line listing info is accurate). Easy access into Erie and Presque Isle. Necessary "services" - groceries, gas, pharmacy, etc. - all within 10-15 minutes (convenience store at end of the road in). Several excellent choices for dinning out in the immediate area. Overall, an excellent stay and we would be happy to rent the same property again.

Serene and inviting

This was a most wonderful and enlivening experience as it was a return to the "home" of 'my' lake...grew up 2 blocks away from Lake Erie and it was my wellspring of restoring a peace and completeness. This property gave all of this and more...the host was incredibly accessible and responsive....the home a haven. We were so grateful!

Matt and Monica Hepler along with their 5 children, own and operate Hepler Meat Processing located in Emlenton, PA . Our meat market has served as an outlet for our beef cattle that we raise on the farm. We have lived in Emlenton, PA for 21 years. The children enjoy helping on the farm and at the butcher shop. We also process about 600 deer during deer season. We have been looking for a long time for the perfect house on the lake. It has been our dream for years to operate fishing charters and provide a beautiful place for our clients to stay. We hope you will enjoy your time with us and make coming to the 'lake' an annual event.

We have always loved the Lake Erie area, with its many activities; fishing , the beaches and just relaxing and enjoying the view of this majestic lake, we felt we needed to own a piece of it. We wanted to share these wonderful experiences with others so we decided to rent our home to those looking for a little getaway. Whether you're looking to come for the week or just a weekend, we thank you in advance for choosing to stay with us.

We fell in love with our home from the first time we visited. The view of the lake just took our breath away. The house is newly remodeled and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom with its cathedral ceiling and its great view of the lake added to its personality. We enjoy sitting on our rustic log swing overlooking the lake and taking in each sunset. We hope you enjoy our house as much as we do. We have recently decided to offer a new service to our customers. We would like to give you the opportunity to purchase some of our delicious meats from Hepler Meat Processing, We carry our homemade hot dogs, cheese dogs and Jalapeno hot dogs, whole ground beef patties, hot sausage, hickory smoked bacon and extra lean country style breakfast sausage. You may include with your reservation, a list of the products you would like to purchase and we will have the freezer stocked and ready for your arrival. Our price list is as follows:
