Come rest on your private deck or sit out at the gas fire pit enjoying wildlife in the forest with spectacular views over Rapid City.
We are centrally located in the Beautiful Black Hills just outside of Rapid City to the west. We have Deer, Turkey, free ranging Peacocks, Coyotes and keep your eyes open and you may see a Mountain Lion.

We love that it was pet friendly, it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very peaceful had wonderful views. The host were great. Would stay there again.

Great place to stay - easy access to all the important stops in the Black Hills. Hosts were excellent with easy communication as needed via text. Place is super cozy, clean and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for anything more and would highly recommend!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to stay at the Ridge Loop property. Very clean, cozy and well maintained indoors, and the out door view was breathtaking. Peacocks, turkeys, deer and more. Dan and Sherry are excellent hosts. Thanks for everything you do to make it so special.

Everything here was well thought out. There was information provided about the surrounding area and this place had all the amenities we were looking for. Turkeys and other wildlife were abundant!

We had a great time in the Black Hills and were very happy with our stay. Great location to explore the area and the kids enjoyed seeing the wildlife right out of the windows.

Beautiful stay in the Black Hills

The rental was very cute, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Sherrie and Dan we very helpful and responsive to our every query. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!!!

Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do on our family vacation to the Black Hills. The rental was spacious, clean, and hosts that went above and beyond what we expected! Definitely will stay here again!

Wonderful location

Property was picturesque, clean, nicely furnished and included some very thoughtful amenities. Owners were very friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Great place to stay at location is good to everything.

Stayed at Don and Sherry’s placed very beautiful area. Neighbors are good. Lots of wildlife to see very peaceful. Great place to stay with kids. They have a pool table will be back again.

Great Country Stay

This place was great. Got to see deer early in the mornings and the sunrise was gorgeous. If ever in the area, we will book again

Lovely property

We had the best time in this quiet cozy home. Everything was super clean and so many ammenities made this vacation really easy. The hosts are lovely people who have put a lot of thought and effort into this rental. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Stay

This property had everything we needed and more. Dan and Sherry are wonderful hosts and the place was immaculate with unexpected extras to enjoy. The place was peaceful and relaxing. All activities we were interested in (Custer/Badlands) were a relatively short drive. Would highly recommend and if we are ever in that area again would want to stay there.

This property has a unique view looking east over Rapid City and beyond. We also have a trail head just to the west of us so you can enjoy the beautiful Black Hills Forest. Choose from hiking, bicycle, dirt bike, ATV/UTV. You will leave right from At Home in the Hills for your outdoor adventure. Come be our guests and make your own summer time memories. We moved here from NW Iowa in 2002. We are empty nesters with a home we love to entertain in. We like to Hike, ride 4 wheelers, ride our HD motorcycle, and just take in the hills attractions. We love to Geo Cache because you never know where that will take you but one thing about it there is usually a breath taking view involved.

We love this 2 acre property and want to share our home and let you experience what the Black Hills has to offer. We have forest service access right around the corner with a spectacular view and quiet setting with lots of wildlife to observe. On 4th of July there are plenty of fireworks to watch right here without all the people.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

When the heat of the summer peaks you can plan on at least 10 degrees cooler up here compared to town and in the winter we have inversions that often we are 10 degrees warmer than town. Enough trees cover to lessen the winds that you will experience in other areas.
