Perfect For Families, Couples, And Dog Friendly! Short Walk To YNP!

One of the few dog-friendly homes actually located in the town of Gardiner. This charming cottage sleeps 7 people.

The Montana-style family room boasts a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of room to relax. You will find ample seating with one pullout couch, and two loveseats.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate dining room. There is seating for 6 people with a great view of Electric Peak.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and large closet. The additional room connected to the master bedroom has a full size futon with a door separating the two rooms.

The second bedroom is off the living room and has a twin bed and small office space. The bathroom has a tub and shower as well as a washer/dryer available for your use.

You can enjoy free internet and Netflix after your long days of sight-seeing in the park.

Your four-legged family members will enjoy the shade and grass in our fenced-in yard, keeping him or her safe and contained while you relax.

The cottage is within walking distance to the market, restaurants and Gardiner shops.

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming old house. It had so much character, and the unique layout made it a fun place to stay. The house was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure, which we really appreciated after long days exploring Yellowstone.The location was also very convenient, just a short drive from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and were excited to see lots of pronghorns and rabbits nearby. We would happily stay here again!

House was clean amd well maintained. Host was responsive and polite. Some of the light switches didn't work, but there was seperate lighting options which provided adequate lighting. Beds were soft and comfy.

This was a very convenient place to stay. However, this is a very old house with what must have been only one outlet per room. As there were heavy extension cords everywhere. Light switches that didn’t work. Very little light in the kitchen just the vent light and one on an extension cord over the microwave. The queen mattress should have been replaced years ago. My husband kneeled in the middle and sunk 6”-8”. One bedroom was the enclosed front porch. No light at the back door where there are a couple steps and the main door. For the 3 of us it worked ok but I really worried about a fire. I think I’m going to call the city to see if that house should even be rented.

House was neat and tidy. It is a beautiful house at very convenient location. I would definitely recommend to anyone provided some of the things are addressed especially if it is to be rented in summer. It gets really hot in summer at Gardiner (may be it was an exception this year), there were two portable ACs but only one was operational which was not at all enough, other one was working but hose was not fit properly (patched with duct tape) as it kept coming off which should be an easy fix. Otherwise all good. All the best.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Can’t beat the proximity to Yellowstone’s north entrance and the town had everything we needed. We had one note for families: this is an older home with creaky floors. If everyone has the same sleep schedule, no problem! But if you have young kids that wake easier it may not be for you. From the kitchen/bathroom, you go through the extra bedroom to get to the master and the floor doesn’t let you do that quietly! But beyond that, really a great place to stay!

Great location in cool little of Gardiner, fenced in yard was great for our dogs , nice place worked well for our group of 5 and our 2 small dogs

Great location for exploring North Yellowstone, only 5 mins from park entrance, and in the evening walking distance to all you need for a lovely evening. The cottage had all we needed for our stay and we all felt very comfortable. Also very quiet at night for a good rest.

Perfect location!! Very close to everything!! Everybody had a comfortable place to stay. Our fur baby enjoyed the fenced yard too! Elks just right outside the gate. We would definitely love to stay here again if we get the chance to fo back to YNP! The host responds quickly to any question or concerns! We highly recommend this place!!

Perfect stay near Yellowstone

The house had everything we needed and was old and rustic. Some gave poor reviews because it is and older house, but we didn't mind at all. The location was great and the town was perfect. If we ever come through here again, we would stay here.

Alex is one of the most communicative hosts I've stayed with. GREAT! the property was clean and had LOTS of space. (especially nice after a NP cabin). Kitchen is well equipped. And nice that people have left salt and spices so you don't need to buy them all.

Location

The cottage in Gardiner is a perfect location for visiting Yellowstone. We appreciated the car port. The town is friendly with lots of shops and good food.

Fantastic cottage space near Yellowstone Park North Entrance

We loved staying at this little cottage near the entrance of Yellowstone in Gardiner, MA. The rooms were perfect, the kitchen was wonderful, and the washer/dryer was a nice surprise! We enjoyed our coffee in the beautiful front yard with a view of the mountains! We would definitely stay here again!

Good stay

House is very close to Yellowstone North entrance, we saw Elk around town and did some shopping/ eating. House is old, but well kept- some of the rooms were dark with limited lighting. We had 4 adults and 1 child- so 2 adults slept on the pull out couch, there is also one queen bed and 3 single beds. Beds were comfortable.

Fantastic little cottage with a view of the mountains from the alley, and an adorably manicured yard

We LOVE the cottage! This is our second time staying in this house when we come to Yellowstone. The house is adorable and homey, and Alex is a great person to rent from. Anytime we come back, we'll definitely stay at Alex's cottage!

We loved staying in this VRBO. Travelling with two dogs can be challenging so it was great to have a fenced yard for the dogs!!The house had everything we needed and more!We loved having a fully equipped kitchen so we could prepare sandwiches etc for picnics in the Yellowstone Park! (It beats having to stand in line for burgers and fries in the park) Also great to have laundry facilities !!The house made this trip a breeze for us! Thank you to the wonderful host. We will be back!

The place is an older home. But clean and has a good amount of space. It was perfect for us traveling with our dog. The yard is nice and fenced. It’s not luxury but has necessities. We loved the location, you could walk to everything and the park entrance is just around the corner. The whole town is of an older construction and the roads are not great but hey you are in the wild, Wild West where elk just might be right outside your window. lol!
