The Turtles Nest Oak Island

Original owner, like new home. 4 bedroom, 2 bath open concept home ready for you! Sleeps 9. During peak Summer season we are a Friday to Friday rental (June 5th to September 4th) You don't have to deal with any Island switchover traffic and you get a whole weekend to enjoy Island festivals. We are 125 steps from our driveway to the Beach. Two fully shaded concrete driveway parking. Huge outdoor shower! All new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. WIFI and TVs in all rooms with Yahoo TV, Netflix, Vudu, Amazon Prime and More! Bamboo floors. Carpeted bedrooms. Tiled baths. Screened back porch. Short walk to Fishing Pier.

The Turtle Nest was great!! We had a wonderful vacation with my daughter, son - in -law and grand-daughter. The house was very clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach was short and very easy, my grand daughter love it.Will be back!

Family-friendly

Great place to stay but you have to be able to climb lots of stairs. Walking distance to the beach. Comfortable beds, very clean, great kitchen.

Fabulous stay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is steps from the beach as well as from a terrific seaside restaurant and pier. The house was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we were looking for. They even have a Keurig machine in the kitchen! The front deck is a great place to have coffee and watch the sun rise in the morning. While it was only the two of us, we felt it would be a great place to come back to with family or friends. There is plenty of space and beds for up to 8 people at least. Additionally, the neighborhood is quiet and minutes from shopping and attractions. Highly recommended!

Altogether again

We had a total of 6 adults and 5 kids. Everyone enjoyed every aspect of the house and the beach. The house is just as pictured, absolutely amazing inside. We used the family kitchen to prepare meals each evening. The location of the home was just a short and sweet walk to the beach. We also had the experience of watching the loggerhead turtles hatching and being released into the ocean. Awesome experience and highly recommend this house to anyone. Thanks for sharing this home with us for the week 7/2-7/9/2019.

Comfortable Stay

Super week with our adult children. The house was clean and comfortable. Easy check in process and short walk to the beach. Quiet location, but clise to everything in Oak Island.

We absolutely LOVE Turtles Nest. My son loves the theme of the house the most. The owner was so accommodating to our family. The kitchen was VERY well equipped with all our needs. The location to the beach, you cannot beat and just everything about the house is amazing. Cannot wait to go back!

Great house, great location, everything was easy!!! May look like a couple streets back but we were in the sand in 3 minutes! Bird sanctuary nearby was awesome to see, kids loved it! Definitely will be back here!! Thanks Scott!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

The home and location were wonderful. Short walk to the beach. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and spend lots of time together as a family.

Wonderful house + wonderful location = wonderful trip

We had a wonderful stay at The Turtle's Nest at the end of June. The house was as advertised, updated and in good condition, spacious enough for 6 adults + 2 kids to not feel crowded, and there was a nice backyard to play in. There was a small charcoal grill, which was serviceable if not convenient, and the kitchen was well stocked. The house itself and proximity to the beach were FANTASTIC! The beach was clean, wide, and uncrowded (especially in the mornings, when the water was relatively calmer and perfect for swimming with little kids). We had a wonderful trip and wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a casual, comfortable place to stay that is easily walkable to a nice, low-key beach!

Gorgeous Location Awesome Owner!

Absolutely beautiful home with pretty much anything you would need. One block off the ocean with super easy access. Oak Island is our favorite beach vacation spot and this home was our favorite through the years. Scott was so accommodating and helpful with anything!!

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway

I booked the Turtle’s Nest due to its size and proximity to family living in OKI. The house was perfect for our needs (4 adults, 4 kids ranging in age from 4-16). Easily walkable to the beach and Pier, as well as the marsh boardwalk. The kitchen was amply equipped for our Thanksgiving meal preparations and the entire house was impeccably clean. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Wonderful beach property

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was in immaculate condition. The Wi-Fi was very reliable and we were able to get work done and my kids definitely enjoyed having TVs in each bedroom. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
